Editor's Diary

1. It has been a while and it has been busy… Not ALL working every hour (although most) as I have managed to spend quite a bit of time at George Northwood lately. Not only does Magda do the best file and paint in town (have you ever seen nail colour look more precise) and Fabz and / or Elliot an awesome cut and style but even the loos make you want to go back. Plus, what an awesome reader event we hosted there in March (here are two of London’s hottest bloggers to prove it) – we are all looking forward to the next already.

2. A day trip to Paris is definitely to be recommended. I left at 7am, was back by 9pm and managed to cram in lunch at L’Avenue (not all that original but my companion hadn’t been before and Olivia Palermo was on the table next to us so it was definitely a good call), a long walk and pit stop at Café de Flore (another must for the people watching alone not to mention the Mille Feuille) and a bit of shopping. Even the 5+ hours we spent on the Eurostar was a treat….

3. Since having children, week long skiing holidays seem to be a thing of the past but actually three days does me pretty well. TA & I spent four nights at the very special Kristiania in Lech. Lech is a LOVELY resort and the Kristiania has charm and character in abundance. Plus stunning modern art juxtaposed with Tyrolean alpine style. Après ski spent horizontal under a fresh duvet on the terrace with a gluwein in hand doesn’t get much better. The gnarly off piste wasn’t bad either.

4. Spring is the air – as are a few new purchases. It’s taken a while to get in the mood I must say. Highlights are my Stan Smiths, Gerard Darel leather jacket (so useful already), Maison Michel hat, Maje jumper and Cos top.

5. And if all that wasn’t enough, there have been Sunday nights on the sofa in front of House of Cards (#stringingitout), if you’re into Peruvian food, a highly recommend brunch at Lima Floral and some precious family time too.
