Home Tour With Top London Blogger

As one of London’s most prominent bloggers and style mavens we jumped at the chance of a sneak peek inside the home of What I Bought Today founder and co-founder of Sustain The Glow, Anneli Bush.

The Norwegian native, who is based fulltime in London, having married a Brit boy (her husband Sam), is no stranger to the UK property market – buying, renovating, selling (and adding a touch of her Scandi-style to) no less than three London properties since 2009. It’s a career choice that pairs well with her blogging, and certainly benefits from her inherent style and attention to detail, not to mention her thrifty eye for an accessory.

The day the SL team visited Anneli’s gorgeous, light-filled two-floor apartment in Hammersmith, the couple were in the midst of completing on yet another property – a house, where they plan to “stay for a little bit longer this time". It seems Anneli has got the bug for the property market, and she’s certainly got the style to win at it choosing to do everything herself, taking inspiration from her homeland of Norway... "And a lot of Pinterest!”
Here, we take a look inside her home – prepare for some serious abode envy.

LIVING ROOM

With every home Anneli and her husband have renovated, they have carefully considered the property’s original features and here the living room is characterised by Victorian high-ceilings and tall windows offset with a minimal and chic look.

From her perfectly-curated bookshelves dotted with luxe coffee table books and Byredo candles, to more thrifty finds from H&M and a set of nestled side tables from Next Anneli spruced up herself with gold paint, the room is stylish and in equal parts.

The grey sofa from French Connection is offset by large monochrome cushions, as well as a bold, textured tangerine-hued throw from Urban Outfitters and a Scandi-look geometric rug from Habitat.
“I love how this room is filled with light in the summer, while in the winter the fireplace makes it so cosy,” Anneli told us.
