Film - The Last Sparks of Sundown

If the weather doesn’t play ball this weekend, take a trip to the cinema instead. Having already won Best Film at Chicago and the London Independent Film Festival, The Last Sparks of Sundown is set to be the must-see film of 2015. Telling the story of two down-on-their-luck American brothers who travel to England to sell their late grandfather's country estate, this indie comedy of errors will have you laughing from the first scene.

Sushi fan? Then Kouzu, the Japanese restaurant and bar right around the corner from Victoria, should be your Friday night dinner plan. Their carefully curated edit of classic and ‘new stream’ sushi and sashimi, charcoal grill dishes, tempura and salads are all made using the finest Japanese ingredients and come from a kitchen headed up by Kyoichi Kai of Zuma and Arts Club fame. Our top tip? The Nigiri (topped with Seared Yellowtail) is a mouthful as sleek as the stylish interiors (well, we are in Belgravia after all) – just take a look at that stunning chandelier.
