What To Do This Weekend

Wondering how to spend your precious two days off? Let SL be your guide…

Boneyard Shoreditch

Do some damage to a rack of ribs at Shoreditch High Street hangout, Boneyard. The new opening, which takes up residence in a former petrol station, blends industrial interiors with an all-American menu. Expect melt-in-the-mouth Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Bone Marrow Burgers and Chilli Con Carne Chips. Pigging out never looked so good.

Children's Art Class at ZSL London Zoo

Eight to 12 year-olds who are fascinated by animals, passionate about drawing and at a loss for summer plans will love the Children’s Art Class at ZSL London. Taking place both in the classroom (with subjects including live reptiles and animal bones) and out and about around the zoo, the interactive classes will allow budding Picassos to try their hand at print making, collage and watercolour.

Druid St Market

Fans of Maltby Street and Borough Market should check out Druid Street Market, now open every Saturday all year round. Bringing its own flavour to the already food-abundant area, you can spend the day browsing and sampling the likes of Cajun Oysters from Decatur, SPAM Toasties from F.A.T by Freddie, Salted Caramel Peanut Butter from Fatties Bakery and Ice Cream Sandwiches from Blu Top Ice Cream. It’s the stuff foodie dreams are made of.
