Whether it's a quick bite before a movie or lunch with the kids, we just can't get enough of Pizza Express a family favourite that never fails to disappoint.

The restaurant turns 50 this month and to celebrate they’ve created a new range of Romana65 Pizzas – thin and crispy delights packed with toppings that are already making our mouths water. Inspired by three pizza icons the American Hot, Margherita and La Reine – the mains take the same ingredients and give them a modern (and utterly delicious) twist. We’re keen to sample the La Regina – a smoked ham hock, chestnut mushroom, buffalo mozzarella, béchamel base and black truffle oil concoction that sounds just dreamy, as well as the American Hottest a blow-the-roof combo of pepperoni, hot green and roquito peppers, fresh red chilli, soft 'nduja sausage, mozzarella and chilli oil. But if these gluttonous options aren’t your thing there are plenty of other new mains to try too, including a fresh and zingy superfood salad, baked freshella dough topped with basil, rocket and chopped tomatoes, and for afters, a lip-smacking eton mess.
