For foolproof makeup with an injection of fun, beauty behemoth Clinique has joined forces with Crayola – the iconic children’s crayon brand – to launch a limited edition Chubby Stick collection. Read on for the full scoop...

Tell us more... Clinique’s legendary multitasking product, the Chubby Stick, has been given a nostalgic makeover. The new, limited edition range comprises ten new shades colour-matched to Crayola crayons.

Which colours are available? The classic crayon colours include Brick Red, Tickle Me Pink and Mango Tango for fuller-looking lips and a long-lasting finish.

Sounds good – so how do you use them? Like the brand’s classic Chubby Stick, the latest iterations carry the same moisturising hit, thanks to mango and shea butters, as well as a subtle sheen and buildable colour. Use in place of your regular balm or apply to cheeks for a rosy glow.

You’ll like them if…The pencil-style applicator makes this tinted balm the ideal middle ground if you’re growing tired of traditional lipstick yet still looking for a product that leaves you looking polished and groomed in a matter of seconds.

Which shades suit which complexions? Those with pale skin and blonde or light brown hair should opt for Melon or Pink Sherbert, while Marvelous and Wild Strawberry will make darker skin tones pop. Our top tip? To make the hue last even longer, start by lining the lips with a matching liner. You’ll find a matching shade in Clinique’s QuickLiner range, £14.50 each.

And where can you find them? The full range of Crayola Chubby Sticks is available now at Selfridges and at Clinique counters from 3rd February, priced £17.50 each. But snap to it – we’re expecting a sell-out.
