From British Summer Time to electro dance fests and Camden-bound indie gigs, here’s our pick of the best festivals bringing the Glastonbury vibes to the capital for one day only…

Bushstock, Shepherd’s Bush

Bringing the festival vibes to west London, this one-day festival, spread across five Shepherd's Bush venues, has an eclectic line-up including The Staves, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Basia Bulat and Gordi.

51st State, Trent Country Park, Cockfosters

Returning for its third year in Trent Park this one-day festival, set in a country house estate in Cockfosters, is organised by the ever-inventive Found crew, giving fans their fix of US House, Garage, Soul, Disco and Caribbean sounds. Look forward to Norman Jay, Derrick Carter and Shiloh at this epic north London dance fest.

British Summer Time, Hyde Park, Kensington

Citadel, Victoria Park, Hackney

If you’re one for a Sunday sesh, Citadel’s lineup won’t disappoint. The Foals are headlining this year’s event, alongside Wild Beasts, Bonobo and Laura Marling. One of the many day festivals hosted in East London’s Victoria Park, look forward to plenty of arts-driven distractions and entertainment throughout the day, as well as top-notch food and drinks offerings.

Eastern Electrics, Morden Park, Hatfield

Sunfall, Brockwell Park, Brixton

Brought to you by the brains behind ace London nightspots Phonox, The Nest and XOYO, and Croatian festivals Dimensions and Outlook, Sunfall is a festival of two faces: the first, an all-day rave in Brockwell Park; the second, eight after parties spread across various venues in south London. This year’s line-up includes Larry Heard, The Black Madonna, Gilles Peterson and Horse Meat Disco.

South West Four, Clapham Common

Clapham Common’s bank holiday dance music bonanza returns for another weekend of big drops and banging club anthems.
