Tipped as the biggest and liveliest of summer food festivals, The Big Feastival is returning to Alex James' beautiful Cotswold grounds for its sixth year, to showcase the biggest names in food and music. A three-day extravaganza with top celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Antonio Carluccio, while Madness, Olly Murs and Hacienda Classical will be headlining the Main Stage. Other acts to look forward to this year include The Cribs, De La Soul, Norman Jay and Dodgy.

ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY HERE: BBC Countryfile, Oxfordshire

BBC Countryfile Live is returning for its second year, with all the Countryfile presenters showcasing the best of the British countryside, to the picturesque grounds of Blenheim Palace. Baby lambs will be on show in the Passion for British Livestock area, as well as live arena shows, hands-on activities, animal displays, debates, food, drink and shopping from over 500 independent retailers and lifestyle brands.

REMINISCE HERE: Beatleweek at the Cavern Club, Liverpool

Beatles fans prepare to rejoice – International Beatleweek Festival is coming to Liverpool’s iconic Cavern Club, to celebrate 30 years of the annual music festival. Live music dedicated to the seminal sixties rockers will play across their three stages, as well as exhibitions, memorabilia sales, guest speakers, video shows, sightseeing tours and a convention.

Throughout August and September, Wiltshire’s luxury country estate, Bowood House, will host a series of fun-filled summer events in their stunning landscaped gardens. This weekend, music lovers can revel in Ibiza-inspired classical sounds, together with the Great British Proms, for the ultimate music fix. Later in the month, there will be a Tractor Diggers and Dumpers Weekend, a golf anniversary celebration and the Great British Food Festival.
