A Cheese Festival Is Coming To London

Favourites 4

We may well have found the Holy Grail of indulgence for cheese lovers... Cheese Street at Islington’s Chapel Market, is a pop-up festival bringing the very best British cheesy delicacies to the streets of the capital, for two days only.

As part of the celebrated London Farmers' Market (there are 22 weekly markets running in London), local and sustainable cheese traders will sell their wares on Sunday 24th of September and Sunday 1st of October. Be sure to keep your calendars clear.

Award-winning cheese brands – including the likes of La Fromagerie, Kupros Dairy, Quicke's Farm, Blackwoods Cheese and Wildes Cheese – will be holding tasting sessions, masterclasses and talks with artisans.

Street food sensations Raclette Brothers, Mac to the Future, Grill My Cheese, The Cheese Truck and The Poutinerie will be serving up all kinds of wondrous cheesy creations, and there’ll be complimentary bottles of Black Cow Vodka – the world’s first pure milk vodka – handed out to the first 50 guests. Like we needed another excuse.

You can also expect a side serving of live entertainment, cheesy soundtracks, ‘cheese angels’ tending to all your dairy desires and the chance to win a mammoth cheese tower from Wildes Cheese. Sign us up. Immediately.
