Stoke Place Bonfire Night

Lewes Bonfire Celebrations, Sussex

One of the UK’s biggest bonfire night celebrations takes place on the cobbled streets of the small medieval town of Lewes. It’s a spectacular pagan-inspired event with street parades, marching bands, fancy dress costumes and sprawling bonfires spread across almost every hill in the town. The event culminates in a mind-boggling fireworks display.

Lord Mayor’s Fireworks, London

London’s new Lord Mayor marks the beginning of a new mayoral year by launching a breathtaking fireworks display over the river as part of a day-long celebration. He’ll arrive in a splendid flotilla along the Thames at 9am and will take part in the world-famous Lord Mayor’s Procession at 11am. Once the procession is over, the fireworks will then be launched between Blackfriars and Waterloo.
