The 12th-floor rooftop bar at Mondrian London has announced a ‘Tuesday Takeover’ series in collaboration with a number of top street food vendors, launching this April. The event will see a new vendor pop up each month – in April it’ll be chicken pros Other Side Fried.

During the first weekend of April, the malls of Canary Wharf will be transformed into a series of catwalks. Aside from the fashion shows, there’ll be exclusive discounts of up to 20%, pop-up boutiques, live music, entertainment and more. EXPLORE EAST LONDON’S FOOD SCENE: Deptford Bites Live

The Guardian’s food critic Grace Dent and food event pro Kate McKenzie have joined forces to celebrate the launch of Deptford Market Yard’s new weekly food market. Taking place from 10am to 4pm, the event will feature a series of talks by the likes of Adrian Luckie from Mama’s Jurk and vegan ambassador Jay Brave, as well as a showcase of food from vendors such as Little Nan’s and Dirty Apron.

The Kensington Hotel is celebrating Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming nuptials by hosting a series of royal-themed masterclasses. MIX COMEDY & MASTERCHEF HERE: Girl on Girl

The female finalists of MasterChef 2017 have teamed up with comedy/immersive event duo Mam Sham (aka Rhiannon Butler and Maria K Georgiou) to create Girl on Girl – an event that will pair three courses to the routines performed by stand-up comedians Sindhu Vee, Twayna Mayne and Desiree Burch. EXPLORE LONDON’S LATEST FOOD DESTINATION HERE: Television Centre Festival
