This summer, Rosewood London has teamed up with The Botanist gin to create a greenhouse in the middle of its Edwardian courtyard. Decorated with foliage and hanging terrariums, the Foraging Greenhouse will provide an al fresco hideaway from the West End. Guests will be able to garnish their cocktails with herbs grown in the space – we like the sound of the ‘Loch Indaal’, a mix of The Botanist gin, Octomore whisky and salt solution.

QUAFF CHAMPAGNE HERE: Bubbledogs
This month the gourmet hot dog and champagne bar will be inviting some of Champagne’s best grower producers to take over their menu with one-off hot dogs, using the finest French produce. To celebrate, the restaurant is throwing a late-night champagne party on 16th June; expect old-school hip-hop from DJ Fizz, champagne samples and hot dogs served until midnight.

GET TECHY HERE: Ace Hotel London Shoreditch
As part of London Tech Week, Ace Hotel has partnered up with Goldsmiths University’s Interaction Research Studio to conduct a research project, using a series of unconventional cameras and audio devices known as ProbeTools. Guests will be given the opportunity to get their hands on a ProbeTool and answer a series of eight questions using the device to capture photo, video and audio content as a response. Alongside this, the hotel’s Lobby Bar will host a ProbeTools exhibition until 14th August.

BE NAUGHTY OR NICE HERE: Aqua Kyoto
Contemporary Japanese restaurant Aqua Kyoto has launched a new brunch menu that’s split between Asian ‘Indulgence’ and more wholesome ‘Purity’ options. Named ‘Ukiyo Brunch’, the modern menu will serve the likes of okonomiyaki with sticky honey cured bacon, smoky tonkatsu sauce and katsuoboshi; rock shrimp tempura with chilli garlic sauce and seaweed; and crunchy tuna taco with yuzu, avocado, wasabi and herbs. Make sure to order the pretty taiyaki maccha kasutado azuki: fish-shaped waffles filled with flavoured custard and topped with miso ice cream.

CHECK OUT A NEW CLUB HERE: Fest Camden
The Stables Market at Camden has been transformed into a brand new nightclub and all-day party space, and it officially opens this weekend. Named Fest Camden, the multifaceted venue offers a mix of indoor and outdoor entertainment, from cocktails and cabaret to dancing and dining. We like the look of the roof garden, which is tropically decorated and comes with a bar and pizza oven. Inside, the Party Stables look set to be the perfect place to hang before catching bands in the live music hall.

BECOME A LAWN BOWLS PRO HERE: Festibowl
Launching this week, Finsbury Square is set to become the host of Festibowl, a lawn bowls pop-up with a festival vibe. Within, guests are invited to make up teams of four and take to the lanes for a game or two of the quintessentially British sport. Aside from the games, there’ll be live music, street food from Truffle London and Chalana Steak Wraps, as well as bars from Bombay Sapphire, Moët & Chandon and Jäegermeister. We recommend booking in advance.

SAMPLE A BACON BUTTY COLLAB HERE: The Pilgrm
Paddington’s Pilgrm hotel is teaming up with bacon sandwich specialists Le Swine for the first in a new series of foodie takeovers. Breakfast at the hotel now features the likes of soft-boiled duck egg, pig trotter soldiers and homemade ketchup; eggy bread with poached peach, crispy bacon, crème fraiche and fruit syrup; plus middle bacon with caramelised red onion sausage, Stornaway black pudding, roasted mushroom, fried duck egg, slow-roast tomato, toast and bacon butter. Le Swine’s renowned bacon butty has also made the cut – phew.

PRETEND YOU’RE IN PORTUGAL HERE: Lisboa Jardim
Pop-up pro DEN LDN has unveiled its newest project – a celebration of all things Portugal. Open now, Lisboa Jardim is located on a leafy terrace that overlooks Portman Square. Expect to sample traditional canned cocktails filled with port and vermouth, Portuguese sourdough and plenty of pastel de nata custard tarts.

Ahead of Florence’s New Generation Festival taking place in August, the stars of the show are heading to the Devonshire Club for a one-night-only preview this Friday. Open to both members and non-members, the night will feature a series of short arias performed by the festival’s lead singers, a drinks reception and a selection of Italian canapés.

BOOK A JAZZ BRUNCH HERE: Tate Britain
Fresh for summer, Tate Britain has brought back its sell-out Saturday Jazz brunches. From now until September 29th, The FB Pocket Orchestra and Booth Street will be entertaining the crowd as they tuck into delicious seasonal brunch dishes, killer cocktails and delve into Rex Whistler’s award-winning wine cellar. Expect to sample freshly shucked oysters and traditional brunch dishes such as marinated heritage tomatoes with crushed avocado on sourdough toast.

SUPPORT THE VINYL REVIVAL & MIND HERE: The Jetty
Each year, Secret 7” takes seven tracks from seven of the best-known musicians around and presses each one 100 times on 7” vinyl. One-off sleeves are then designed by 700 artists: and whoever buys one won’t know who created the sleeve, or which song it features, until it’s been purchased. From now until 23rd June, all 700 are on display at The Jetty in Greenwich, before they go on sale on 24th June. Each record costs £50 and all the money raised will go to mental health charity Mind.
