Jinjuu

Leading chef Judy Joo recently launched a Korean-inspired bottomless brunch where diners can feast upon weekend classics with a Seoul twist, such as green-tea pancakes, Korean fried chicken and waffles, and a croque monsieur filled with kimchi. Fresh from her trip to PyeongChang for the Winter Olympics, Judy has introduced a shaved ice dessert to the menu: a fluffy Korean ice-cream sundae known as ‘bingsu’. Perfect for summer.

Rascals

A pleasuredome of raucous revellery, Rascals – true to its name – is a debauched diner-cum-restaurant-cum-bar that serves up a heavy hit of fun and frolics. Decked out in millennial pink, this playful hangout boasts everything from DJs, drag queens, cabaret acts and game show-inspired brunches, with a side of ping pong, water and jelly fights, golf and shuffle board to really get the party going. Brunches are served game show-style – you’ll have to spin the ‘Roulette Wheel of Certain Misfortune’ – with dazzling drag shows and whip smart card games, alongside indulgent dishes of whole burratas, truffle linguine and meatballs, jelly mountains and ice-cream.

Kurobuta

Japanese junk food destination Kurobuta has begun hosting a bottomless Dude Food brunch each Sunday. Inspired by the menus at Izakayas, informal Japanese pubs, the menu will combine Asian flavours with junk food: expect dishes such as Singapore fried chicken with pickled cucumber and kimchee mayo and desserts like matcha Mr Whippy. We like the sound of the unlimited Asahi beer, fresh from the self-serve tap.

Indian Accent

Indian Accent in Mayfair has a new weekend brunch menu – and there’s not an avocado in sight. Instead, chef Manish Mehrotra has put a spicy spin on brunch with a selection of imaginative plates such as parsi fried eggs with crispy potatoes and chutney; chilli crab cheese toast with summer cucumber pickle and tamarind ketchup; and quail egg pulao with bacon, crispy shallots and mint yoghurt. We’re keen to try one of the ‘Spicy Tomato Martinis’.

Les Nénettes

This charming bistro in Clapton is run by an all-female team. Its new brunch menu, running Monday-Sunday, is authentically French and seasonal. With a focus on eggs, the menu includes classic ‘petit déjeuner’ dishes such as a croque monsieur, and soft-boiled eggs with a choice of anchovy butter soldiers or cheese straw soldiers. Our top tip? If it’s a sunny day, grab a seat on the terrace and pretend you’re in Paris.

34 Mayfair

Caprice Holdings’ (the group behind The Ivy, Le Caprice and Scott’s) 34 Mayfair has recently revamped its brunch menu. Of the new dishes, we like the sound of the waffles with foie gras and duck egg with Seville orange marmalade; corn tacos with sea bass ceviche, apple and avocado; and Japanses wagyu croquettes with wasabi mayo. We’d wash it all down with a café latte milkshake.
