Wondering how to spend your precious three days off? Let SheerLuxe be your guide in our What To Do This Bank Holiday Weekend round-up.

STUFF YOURSELF WITH ‘NDUJA HERE: Radio Alice

This August Radio Alice, the pizzeria in Hoxton and Clapham known for their sourdough pizzas, will dedicate an entire menu to ‘nduja, the spicy Calabrian salami that hails from the same Italian region as Radio Alice’s founders, brothers Matteo and Salvatore Aloe. To celebrate the annual ‘nduja festival that takes place in Italy each August, the team has created an entire menu spiked with the meat: highlights include its signature sourdough pizza with roasted peppers, ‘nduja, baked potatoes, fiordilatte and pecorino; and a dessert of mascarpone, dark chocolate, ‘nduja, honey and fennel seeds.

16 Hoxton Square, Shoreditch, N1 6NT and 67 Venn Street, Clapham, SW4 0BD; until 31st August

STAY OUT TIL LATE HERE: Kricket Brixton

Brixton has gained a late-night bar from the duo behind Kricket, chef Will Bowlby and Rik Campbell. The new, casual Kricket Brixton bar will stay open until 1:30am; nights out will encompass a DJ, Indian-inspired cocktails and late night snacks (we like the sound of the cornflake chevda). Drinks-wise, we’re keen to sample the Old Narangi (cardamom-infused bourbon, marmalade and lemon) and a Dark Matter (a spiced rum cocktail with mango, agave, pink peppercorn and green chilli).

41-43 Atlantic Road, Brixton, SW9 8JL

CELEBRATE ALL THINGS TOMATO HERE: Aqua Nueva

This weekend, contemporary Spanish restaurant Aqua Nueva will bring the famous tomato-throwing festival La Tomatina to London. Festivities begin in the restaurant where guests will enjoy a cocktail and a tomato-based menu created by Head Chef Yahir Gonzalez, who has taken inspiration from the Spanish festival to inform the dishes. Upon arrival, guests start with a Ketel One cocktail and a shot of gazpacho, after which they will choose three dishes from a tapas-style menu. Following lunch, guests will make their way to nearby Downstairs at Carousel in Marylebone for a Bloody Mary masterclass, followed by a tomato-fuelled tussle. Don’t worry – ponchos are provided.

As a thank you to its loyal customers, guests will be able to choose from one of ten signature dishes (we’d opt for the butternut red curry) and a jar of Thai iced tea or a Chang Thai beer, for £10. WATCH THIS: BlacKkKlansman

Renowned director Spike Lee teams up with Adam Driver (Girls), and John David Washington (yes, Denzel’s son) for his latest flick, with Get Out’s Jordan Peele on production duties. The story follows the insane true story of an African-American police officer who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan using Driver’s Flip Zimmerman as his avatar. Sounds serious as a heart attack, but Lee delivers this stranger-than-fiction tale with his usual flair of satirical humour.

In cinemas from 24th August
