RESTAURANT: Louie

Guillaume Glipa, the man behind some of London’s most celebrated restaurants (Zuma, Coya, Chiltern Firehouse), has launched Louie with Laurent de Gourcuff of famed Parisian hospitality group Paris Society. Drawing inspiration from several eras, Louie is named in honour of both Louis XIV and Louie Armstrong, and offers a New York-meets-New Orleans menu: think po boys and tarte tartin. As well as the main restaurant – which is filled with antiques and curiosities – you’ll find upper floors leading to an open lounge with a fireplace and a roof terrace garden.
