CREATED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PARKA
Founded back in1953 by a former RAF soldier Alfie Lever, the brand set out to reference the utilitarian qualities of the army uniform, whilst ticking all the practical boxes. The brand formed strong roots in the London design scene, setting up a factory in Spitalfields market in the 1950s, and dressing Carnaby Street shoppers by the 60s and 70’s – fast-forward to 2018, and it’s still the ultimate label for warm, wearable offerings with a stylish edge.
Forget the Air Force-inspired designs of yore – nowadays, the brand is all about adding classic tailoring, plush fabrics and technical detailing to contemporary designs to bring the look to life. Choose between military-like khaki and black, or more feminine pink and grey offerings; faux fur lining and hoods on all styles guarantee you’ll stay warm all winter, whilst pocket detailing and mid-length hems give the pieces a modern feel. You get what you pay for and these Parka London coats promise to stand the test of time – hey, they already have.
