Niche Brands To Know...

It’s Skin Serums, £12 each

Coveted by make-up master Lisa Eldridge, these Korean serums sell every seven seconds worldwide. It’s little wonder given their affordable price points that give the skin a hefty dose of nourishing vitamins, balancing out the skin while keeping moisture levels up too. Each target specific concerns, from spots to pores and dryness, but if you’re after a general boost? Try the VE (vitamin E) Effector for an instant hit of radiance.

Chopstick The 'Hero' Styler, £24.99

We investigated these recently after a recommendation from our stylist and were pleasantly surprised by the results. Easy to use, creates beachy curls within seconds and is affordable - this ticks every one of our hair styling boxes. The compact size is a bonus too and is perfect to have at work to take you seamlessly from desks to drinks.

Essence I Need A Miracle Mascara, £3.99

The latest mascara causing a stir in the beauty industry is this magic wand from high-street chain Wilkinson. While it doesn’t give lashes a full fat flutter, it does lengthen and separate them for an even finish with no clumping. The best bit? It naturally enhances your lashes natural colour with its in-built tinting and conditioning complex. At £3.99, you can’t go wrong.

Wearable Shimmer...

Glossier Glitter Gelée, £12

Glossier’s new brand ‘Play’ has finally arrived, bringing with it a stream of exciting, drool-worthy products. Naturally, we want everything, but if we could only pick one item? It would have to be the satisfying jelly glitters. We’ve fallen hard for the easy-to-use shades that you can build and mix at will. Start with a simple sweep across lids, then keep playing for maximum impact.

Revlon Longwear Highlighter, £9.99

Designed to be used along the cheekbones for a subtle sheen, this dewy shimmer also looks pretty when worn on the lids or tapped onto the cupid’s bow for a lip plumping effect. The big fluffy brush is brilliant too for depositing the perfect amount of pigment – aka, the bare minimum.

Best In Brows...

Anastasia Beverley Hills Dipbrow Gels, £19, available 7th March

Fans of the brand will be thrilled by these gels, given it’s their first new launch in three years. Essentially a hybrid of their most popular brow buys, these slick gels deliver great pigment that’s not only waterproof, but adds visible bulk, lasting for up to 12 hours. Be quick, we expect these to sell out fast.

The Spring Fragrance You Need...

Jo Malone Wild Flowers and Weeds Fragrances, £49 per bottle

This new range completely epitomises spring, inspired by the fresh, green plants and weeds that line the banks of rivers. From soft, dry and smoky to cool-girl florals laced with mimosa and cucumber, there’s something for everyone. Our favourite? Cade & Cedarwood for the comforting warm scent it leaves on the skin. We can’t get enough of the Instagram-worthy bottles either.

Luxe Lipsticks...

Charlotte Tilbury Latex Love Lip Glosses, £24

It’s easy to see why these new glosses are compared to latex thanks to the high-shine liquid that stays put for hours. Another bonus is the angled applicator that closely hugs the lips for flawless, even colour, plumping out even the finest of lips. We would gladly buy every single shade in this range.

Hourglass Lip Treatment Oils, £45

These delicious new lip oils come in wearable yet vibrant shades and leave behind a soft, glossy finish. They’re also laced with vitamins and essential oils, so any dry patches and cracks are kept completely at bay. A huge hit in the SL office, converting some who would usually steer completely clear of lipstick.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid Lip, £19

The 14 easy-to-wear shades deliver creamy, rich pigment that doesn’t dry out the lips thanks to the emollient-rich formula. We made it through the day with just one retouch – impressive.

Speedy Haircare...

Ouai Hair & Body Shine Mist, £25

Ouai’s fragrant shampoos and conditioners have had us hooked from the beginning, but this new shine mist has quickly become our new favourite from the brand. Designed to be used on the skin too, it offers an unbeatable sheen that catches the light beautifully. Perfect for summer when your limbs need an illuminating boost or misted over a low chignon for extra style points.

IGK 2-in-1 Shampoo & Texturiser, £22

A no-mess dual product that washes and styles hair simultaneously with clay and grape seed extracts. Don’t be alarmed by the muddy, grey colour, it stills leaves hair feeling clean, just with a gritty French-girl texture to boot that’s ideal for bulking up finer strands.

Spring Skincare Saviours...

Caudalie Vinoperfect Dark Spot Correcting Glycolic Night Cream, £34

An overnight powerhouse that brings cell renewal up to speed for a fresh and even-looking glow. Works brilliantly on all skin types but those with pigmentation or dullness will see results specifically – and fast.

Elemis Superfood Kefir-Tea Mist, £26

The perfect face mist is refreshing, hydrating and pleasant to use – and this one ticks all those boxes. Packed with rooibos tea extract and popular kefir, it also protects against pollution while keeping skin juicy, plump and bright. Can be used as a primer, toner, setting spray or a deskside facial mist – the options are endless.

Balance Me Tri-Molecular Hyaluronic Serum, £30

A refined texture loaded with skin-softening aloe-vera and camomile make this perfect for new hyaluronic acid users or long-time lovers. Targets redness, inflammation and sensitivity while blurring fine lines. A lightweight skincare staple for spring.
