TRY A NEW BRUNCH HERE: All Star Lanes
All Star Lanes has revamped its brunch menu. Taking inspiration from all-American brunches over the pond, the new menu features the ‘American Breakfast’, including a Cumberland sausage, two fried eggs, treacle-cured bacon, buttermilk pancakes, tater tots and maple syrup, while the ‘Lebowski’ burger combines a 6oz chuck steak and rib cap patty with treacle-cured bacon, slow-cooked pork rib, a fried egg, American cheese, tomato salsa and mustard. Veggie dishes include huevos rancheros and slices of ripe avocado on top of butternut squash dukkah, rocket and sourdough toast. Guests can choose to go bottomless, with the option of adding two hours of unlimited prosecco, mimosas or craft beer for an extra £20 per person. There will also be a revolving programme of entertainment: expect drag bingo, live musicians and interactive games.

To celebrate the launch of their new Hello Happy Brightening Foundation and Velvet Powder, Benefit Cosmetics will be hosting an interactive and endorphin-releasing consumer experience this Friday and Saturday. DO A NEW ESCAPE ROOM HERE: Buckingham Palace
A Leonardo da Vinci-themed escape room has opened at The Queen’s Gallery in Buckingham Palace. Running until October, ‘Leonardo Artmergency!’ takes place among the 200 original drawings in the exhibition Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Drawing – the largest display of da Vinci’s works in 65 years. Every Friday and Saturday evening, The Queen’s Gallery will be transformed into four rooms of puzzles and riddles, where participants are invited to think like a Renaissance genius and beat the clock to unlock the mysteries in da Vinci’s drawings to solve the mystery of the missing curator. Your team will need careful observation, creative thinking and detective work to beat the clock, but – thankfully – no prior art history knowledge is required.

PRETEND YOU’RE IN MEXICO HERE: Ella Canta
Mexican restaurant Ella Canta is shaking off beach party FOMO as it brings a taste of the Tulum scene to London. Launching in partnership with iconic beach club Coco Tulum, the restaurant’s new brunch series will take place on the third Saturday of the month from 11:30am till 4pm through the summer months. Dishing up authentically modern Mexican cuisine, the new menu is inspired by the costal Mexican paradise, in kaleidoscopic colours and flavours – expect some of the best ceviche, tacos and churros you’ve ever tasted in London. Cocktails and margaritas will be free flowing as the restaurant’s resident DJ plays a mix of mellow yet upbeat house music that has been specially curated in partnership with Tulum local and Coco Beach Club resident DJ Manuscula.

STEP OUTSIDE HERE: The Pilgrm Hotel
The Pilgrm Hotel in Paddington has launched an al fresco drinking and dining spot on the front of its Victorian townhouse – just in time for summer. Open to hotel guests and visitors alike, the terrace is perched outside the first-floor cocktail lounge and seats 20 among a quaint herb garden, with which the dishes and drinks on The Pilgrm’s summer menu will be infused. We like the sound of the ‘Fig Leaf Collins’, which combines fig leaf cordial, gin and soda water and the ‘Whisky & Peach’, which blends whisky, peach and hibiscus tincture and soda. The summer menu features light, colourful dishes with well-sourced ingredients from Belazu and Brindisa such as cod-stuffed peppers; smoked aubergine with burrata and anchovies on toast.

TRY DOG YOGA HERE: The Curtain
This weekend, The Curtain hotel is calling all dog lovers for a one-off yoga experience in celebration of International ‘Doga’ Day – a dog-filled yoga flashmob class conducted across the globe to raise awareness of animal protection overseas. This year, the hotel will host two ticketed evening classes (6:30-7:30pm and 8-9pm) with all proceeds going to the charity All Dog Matters. Tickets will be priced at £25 for the first session and £55 for the second session, which will also include a glass of champagne after the class.

HAVE A ROAST HERE: Rotunda
Rotunda in King’s Cross has launched a new ‘Sunday Beef Club’. The four-course menu kicks off with a selection of the chef’s canapés and either a Bloody Mary or a glass of Brocard Pierre champagne. Guests will then share a platter of seafood, which includes H. Forman & Son smoked salmon, dressed Cornish crab and Atlantic prawns. This is followed by roast sirloin of beef from Corneyside Farm, Rotunda’s own farm in Northumberland. The beef is accompanied by unlimited duck fat-roast potatoes, as well as seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and plenty of gravy. Finally, guests can choose a dessert which will be paired with an espresso martini, Irish coffee or port. Set on the edge of Regent’s Canal, Rotunda has commanding waterside views and a terrace with ample outdoor seating for dining al fresco.

CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY HERE: Triyoga
Triyoga, London’s largest destination for yoga, pilates, treatments and teacher training, will be offering free yoga classes at its Soho centre to celebrate International Day of Yoga. The company will run three 45-minute classes completely free of charge on this Saturday at 10:30am, 2:45pm and 7:30pm. Guests are also encouraged to meet Triyoga yoga teachers and staff, and find out which yoga style might be right for them. As part of the event, Triyoga Soho will also be offering treatment taster sessions with highly-qualified therapists throughout the afternoon. This month, fashion designer NY Misha Nonoo is hosting her first pop-up shop in Marylebone. A go-to destination for sustainable styling advice, events, panels and intimate workshops, the pop-up showcases the designer and her customers’ multidimensional lifestyle. Along with pieces from Misha Nonoo’s ‘Create Your 8’ collection, the pop-up also houses products from brands such as Aurelia Probiotic Skincare, Austin Austin Organics, EYM Naturals and The Laundress. As part of the installation, customers will be able to participate in panel events featuring female entrepreneurs such as Dame Helena Morrisey along with sustainable experts such as Cora Hilts of Rêve En Vert and Harriet Vocking, chief brand officer at Eco-Age.
