As each of their relationships reach a moment of truth, Frances (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Robert (Thomas Haden Church) face the reality of post-divorce life. Last in series – and ever. We’re hoping for a happy ending.

Tuesday 13th August

Keeping Faith, 9pm, BBC1

Torn between keeping her family together and her growing feelings for Steve, Faith battles with conflicting emotions as Evan’s release from prison draws closer. DI Breeze continues to up the pressure on Evan, and a call from PC Williams delivers an unwelcome new lead in Madlen’s case.

Euphoria, 10pm, Sky Atlantic

Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma and social media. In this third episode, Kat starts camming; Jules falls for a boy online; Rue is confronted at NA; Cassie visits McKay at college.

Wednesday 14th August

Murder Case, 9pm, BBC1

With unparalleled and intimate access to Police Scotland’s major investigations teams, this new three-part series, filmed over the course of 18 months by Bafta-winning film-maker Matt Pinder, goes behind the scenes on some of the most complex murder and large-scale criminal investigations in Scotland. This episode investigates the disappearance of Julie Reilly, a 47-year-old mother of one who was reported missing in March 2018.

Deep Water, 9pm, ITV

Multi-award-winning actresses Anna Friel, Sinead Keenan and Rosalind Eleazar star in this gripping ITV thriller. Set against the imposing backdrop of the Lake District, the six-part series follows the lives of three complex and vibrant women, each struggling to keep their heads above very deep water. Like all of us, they seek to do their best for their families, but face tough choices with difficult, and often messy repercussions.

Thursday 15th August

The Secret Teacher, 9pm, Channel 4

Leading entrepreneurs go undercover in schools across the country, looking to offer students with untapped potential the chance of a lifetime. In tonight’s episode, marketing mogul Paul Rowlett is undercover in Hertfordshire, shocked by the state of the school facilities and helping Courtney face her mocks.

Friday 16th August

Fosse/Verdon 9pm, BBC2

Fosse is too nervous to attend the premiere of Cabaret and is woken the next morning by his friend Paddy with the rave reviews and the revelation that he can now write a blank cheque for whatever he wants to do next. He starts on the rehearsals of Pippin. Meanwhile, Gwen is struggling with her first straight play Children, Children.

Sunday 18th August

Poldark, 9pm, BBC1

Ross throws himself into fighting for Ned’s liberty as George prepares to marry Cecily and finalise his deal with Hanson and Merceron. Geoffrey Charles is forced to make a desperate plan to elope with Cecily before the wedding, and Demelza uncovers a theft at the mine. While Drake and Morwenna enjoy wedded bliss at last, Sam’s growing attachment to Rosina comes under threat by Tess’s claim to seek a purer life.
