CREATED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH EYEKO
Eyeko has expanded its existing ‘eye wardrobe’ with new vegan Lid Glosses in the brand’s signature squeezy tubes. Designed to take you from day to night in a single sweep, the Lid Glosses’ metallic finishes give the covetable glossy effect that was all over the AW19 runways. Here, we share how to apply them, the shades that work best on different skin tones, and the easiest way to use them for both a subtle shine and a more dramatic finish…
The Formulas Are Seriously Buildable
With a lightweight cream-glitter formula, Eyeko’s Lid Glosses can be built upon to dial up to your desired level of intensity. They’re fun to play with and can have a statement-making 3D effect when the varying colours are mixed together. You can sweep them on to cover the whole surface of the lid, or you can dip a thin brush inside the tube and draw a little along the lash line for a metallic party flick. They also work nicely as a highlighter when dabbed at the inner and outer corners of the eyes – try Stardust, a pigmented, silver-white shade that illuminates, brightens and widens.
The Five Shades Really Do Suit All
When it comes to party make-up, it doesn’t always have to be gold or silver. Eyeko’s Lid Glosses are cosmic-inspired tones, offering everything from Zodiac’s burnished rose gold to Retrograde’s iridescent purple, and Luna’s luminous mix of gold and silver. The five-strong shade selection will allow you to create a look that’s bespoke to you, and with a glossy sheen you’ll love.
They Take Seconds To Apply For A Fool-Proof Finish
Thanks to the large doe-foot applicator, the smooth, silky texture glides onto eyelids, covering the whole surface area with effortless application. They don’t dry down instantly, so you have some time to play and smudge them if you want to, but they are designed to gradually lock into place, so you can skip eye primer and even brushes. Post-application, gently brush on some pressed powder around the edge of your lid gloss. This will help to give a soft, natural fade between the pigment and your skin.
