The Look: Aubergine Eyes
How To Do It: These smokey eyes were created with a colour twist. Black was replaced with aubergine hues for a look that’s softer and more feminine. Make-up artist Leah Baines prepped the skin with Peter Thomas Roth’s Gold Prism Cream and Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation for a luminous, dewy finish. She then used Kevyn Aucoin’s Emphasize Eye Palette, sweeping on the taupe-y, purple hue (fourth shade along) all over the lids, and slightly under the lash line. To get the same precision around the eye, use a sculpting brush to wing out your colour at the edges and a cotton bud dabbed in make-up remover to refine everything. Finally, brows were swept into place with Benefit’s cult Gimme Brow for a feathered effect.

Tanielle Jai
The Look: Chrome Lids
How To Do It: It can be hard to keep heavy glitter looking chic, but make-up artist Tanielle Jai managed it here. Using Stila’s Starlight Liquid Eyeshadow all over the lids, she then pressed in MAC’s Gold Glitter, using Inglot’s Duraline Liquid to lock down each layer in place. Perfect for a night out or your Christmas party – plus it’s speedy and easy to do, even for make-up novices.

Beauty Is Boring
The Look: Lilac Shimmer
How To Do It: This soft, shimmery look was created for Allure magazine and, while impactful, it’s subtle enough for daytime wear. Make-up maestro Robin Black prepped skin with Vanderohe’s No.1 Nourishing Serum, before applying Dior’s Face & Body Foundation. As for the fresh pink cheeks, these were created with a smattering of Dior’s Rouge Blush in 047 Miss, while lids were the main statement thanks to a wash of Fenty’s Killawatt Highlighter in Wattabrat. To make sure the overall look wasn’t too heavy, lashes were pared back with just a few coats of Wander Beauty’s Unlashed Volume & Curl Mascara – applied to both top and bottom with a light hand.

Ezgi Kılıç Halilbeyoğlu
The Look: Caramel Tones
How To Do It: Make-up artist Ezgi used the golds and soft browns in MAC’s Gilty Pleasure Eyeshadow Palette to layer up this sultry eye. She then lined the upper lids and inner waterline with a kohl pencil for a soft, diffused flick. We love NYX’s Jumbo Pencil, which will help you create a similar effect with ease – just be sure to use your finger or a small brush to smudge the pigment along your lids. Cheekbones were kept glossy with a dash of cream blush. Try MAKE’s Dew Pot in Lily for the same juicy colour and pat it into skin from your temples right down to the apples of your cheeks.

The Look: 70s Disco Eyes
How To Do It: Leah’s was a statement retro look, but you can take the products she used and dial it back for a softer version. The electric cat-eye flicks were drawn on with Dose Of Colours’ silky Splash liner, while the lids and inner corners were coated with the lighter, sparkly shades in Roen Beauty’s 52° Cool Eyeshadow Palette. For a softer take, try using the liner just in the waterline, or at the outer corners in a smaller flick. Keep lips simple like Leah did, using just a few layers of Dior’s Lip Maximizer in 001.

Natasha Denona
The Look: All Things Nude
How To Do It: Creamy skin, fluffed-up brows and neutral lips were the order of the day for this classic look. But it’s the subtle white liner we can’t get enough of. Try Marc Jacobs Gel Eye Crayon in The Buff to replicate the eye. The crayon formula will give you better grip and allow you to be more precise, unlike gel liners which can often run and result in smudging. If the line ends up too thick, use a trusty cotton swab again, dip it in make-up remover and gently use it to mold and refine the colour. To get the exact same lip, take Natasha’s cue and use her lipstick in shade 11NB for the same neutral pout.

The Look: Festive Beauty
How To Do It: What’s not to love about this look? Make-up artist Nikki started by using By Terry’s CC Brightening Serum to give skin a bronzed, even glow. She then followed up with Dolce & Gabbana’s Perfect Reveal Lift Foundation for further coverage that maintained dewiness. As for eyes, Charlotte Tilbury’s Cream Shadows in Bette & Jean were blended together on the lids with MAC’s Brush 239 – she also used any excess from the brush to go underneath the bottom lash line. To finish, Delilah’s Gel Liner in Ebony was applied using a thin, fine brush, while lips were sculpted with Sunnies Face Hot Sauce Lipstick. Sunnies isn’t available yet in the UK, but for a similar shade, try Charlotte Tilbury’s Hot Lips in Tell Laura.
