Lyaness, the latest bar from internationally renowned bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana (aka Mr Lyan), has a new menu. The bold new bar was launched at Sea Containers London, the site of Mr Lyan’s multi-award-winning spot Dandelyan, earlier this year. The concept allows guests to break down the bartender/guest barrier. The ingredients-led new menu comprises seven homemade concoctions including ‘Peach Emoji’ (a big, bold body of flavour including marzipan and stone fruit with a slightly green finish) and ‘Lyaness Tea-mooth’ (an apricot backbone, toasted nutty notes on top, and a rich, salty texture). We’re intrigued.

GO ‘OUT OUT’ HERE: Magic Door

Magic Door remains one of the UK's most intriguing club nights, built around an ethos where the look and feel of each night is as important as the music itself. Its loyal crowd reciprocates the effort, rocking up in all manner of outlandish costumes. This weekend, the club is debuting at the soon-to-be-closed The Cause. Uniting Magic Door's creativity with The Cause's celebrated industrial look, the night promises to be one of the shows of the year. PBR Streetgang, Maxxi Soundsystem and Mr Doris will all perform, the Crafty Girls will be on make-up duties; and there will be a truck full of glitter. A great way to kick off the party season.
