I would describe my style as effortless and elevated. I love combining wardrobe staples with unique trend-led pieces to keep things exciting. One of my go-to looks is a simple white tank, trousers and oversized blazer. For the evening, it’s a slinky black dress and strappy mid heels, accessorised with a silver necklace and small clutch bag.
My number-one styling rule is to dress according to how you feel. Don’t let trends rule you. Some days I feel like dressing more feminine, others more masculine, and others just completely comfy! I always let my feelings and mood dictate when I decide what to wear in the morning.
My favourite trend this season is chunky sole boots. I recently bought the Chloé Rain boots which have a statement chunky heel – I love how chic they make all my outfits look.
The pieces worth investing in are denim and handbags. Finding the perfect jeans can make you feel so confident; having an arsenal of good handbags can completely change an outfit. My Paco Rabanne chain bag has been such a good investment this season – it’s so versatile and looks amazing with everything in my closet.
My biggest wardrobe splurge was my Bottega Veneta Pouch bag. Definitely my most expensive bag, but I am so in love with the design – and I saved up for ages to buy it!
But sometimes I regret my designer purchases. I recently bought a couple of pieces on sale from a luxury brand and didn’t really think them through. They were more trend-led and I’m not sure it was the wisest decision for long-term wear.
My favourite thing in my wardrobe right now is a pair of dark grey trousers from Cos. They fit me perfectly and I wear them with pretty much everything.
Adding jewellery is a great way to elevate your outfits. I am actually wearing more silver than gold right now, particularly chunky chains and signet rings.
The key to staying warm and looking chic is well-tailored coats and statement jackets that will pull your look together. I recently purchased a beautiful coat by Stand Studio that I’ll wear to New York fashion week in a few weeks.
My style icon is Audrey Hepburn. She was always so classic and true to her own style. On Instagram, I love following @DiscoDaydream, @OumaymaBoumeshouli, @NYCBambi , @LaurenceFortinCote and @Sasha.Mei.
The secret to good style is staying true to yourself. At the end of the day, style is self-expression and it should be a reflection of what you like, not what is cool at the time.
