For a high-end experience, it doesn’t get much better than the three treehouses at the Farncombe Estate’s Fish Hotel. Sleeping up to two adults and two children, each treehouse also has two bathtubs on an outdoor deck, underfloor heating, Nespresso machines and a well-stocked mini bar. While the spa is undergoing refurbishment that is due to be completed in Spring, the hotel is still open, as are its range of treetop suites. The largest treehouse sleeps up to 12 (four adults and eight children), while those after something cosier can opt for the studio suite – ideal for couples. Breakfast hampers are delivered daily, and most rooms come with at least a mini kitchenette featuring a coffee machine, dish washer, fridge, sink and microwave. However, guests are also welcome to dine at any of Chewton Glen’s restaurants, including The Dining Room, run by head chef Simon Addison and exec head chef Luke Matthews.
