WELCOME SPRING HERE: Dalloway Terrace

The arrival of longer days and slightly warmer weather means it’s time for Bloomsbury restaurant Dalloway Terrace to be transformed, this time into a whimsical overgrown greenhouse. Evoking the sights of Virginia Woolf's tranquil garden at her 16th-century Sussex retreat, Monk’s House, the idyllic setting will transport guests to the surroundings of a quintessentially English garden complete with an abundance of cascading roses, sweet peas and tulips entwined around terracotta pots, courtesy of McQueens Flowers. Alongside the display, a list of botanical cocktails will be on offer, inspired by the flowers of an English country garden, as well as new spring dishes and a seasonal afternoon tea.

WATCH THIS: Misbehaviour

Starring Keira Knightley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jessie Buckley and Keeley Hawes, this film follows the events of the 1970 Miss World competition, at that time the most-watched TV show on the planet. Claiming that beauty competitions demean women, the newly formed Women’s Liberation Movement achieved overnight fame by invading the stage and disrupting the live broadcast of the competition. Not only that, when the show resumed, the result caused uproar: the winner was not the Swedish favourite but Miss Grenada, the first black woman to be crowned Miss World. In a matter of hours, a global audience had witnessed the patriarchy driven from the stage and the Western ideal of beauty turned on its head.

In cinemas from 13th March
