Mindfulness app Headspace has teamed up with children’s television favourite Sesame Street to launch ‘Monster Meditations’, a selection of short animations to help children combat anxiety. Released biweekly on YouTube, the shorts feature familiar cartoon characters, all of whom experience feelings of impatience, nervousness, anger, and insomnia. Parents and children can follow the videos together, before practising basic breathing and other mindfulness techniques to encourage a sense of calm.
