A new at-home experience from the team at Six by Nico launched with nationwide delivery this month, and the first four-course menu is based around the city of Bangkok. The kit includes a starter of hot and sour tom yum soup with prawn dumplings; and a main course of panang red curry with slow-roasted chicken, sweet potato, baby corn, pak choi, roasted peanuts, crispy shallots and Thai herbs served with sides of jasmine rice and crispy pork pad thai. A cheese course serves up Landana 500 with pineapple and nigella chutney and water crackers, and pudding will be cardamom and toasted coconut rice pudding with salted bean curd caramel and exotic fruit compote. The Home by Nico box provides two people with ready-made dishes that simply need to be assembled and finished at home, plus a bottle of wine.
Mindful Chef x Leon
Until 21st November, fans of Leon will be able to get their hands on some of its most-popular dishes at home, as the restaurant has partnered up with Mindful Chef for a number of limited-edition recipe boxes. Delivered straight to customers' doors across the UK, the Mindful Chef x Leon recipe box will contain everything needed to make the brand’s Moroccan meatballs and Sicilian-style meatless meatballs. Each box includes pre-portioned ingredients, step-by-step instructions, plus a jar of vegan garlic aioli to dollop on the side. Additionally, anyone new to Mindful Chef will receive £10 off their first two boxes.
Bocca Di Lupo At Home
Bocca di Lupo has launched a nationwide delivery service in keeping with the restaurant’s series of monthly changing, regionally focused menus. With step-by-step videos and clear instructions included with each delivery, founder Jacob and his team are on hand through the whole cooking process, making things easy for even the least confident home cook. Each month diners have a choice between ‘Campo’ (vegetarian), ‘Maccellaio’ (meat) and ‘Mare’ (sea) three-course menus. November’s iteration pays homage to Puglia and features the likes of handmade capunti pasta with sausage ragu; burrata with broad bean puree and chicory leaves; whole salted gilt-head bream with a side of sweet peppers, capers and breadcrumbs; and slow-roasted lamb shoulder with burnt honey, rosemary and garlic.
Passo To Go
Shoreditch-based Passo specialises in rustic, authentic Italian food. To help customers enjoy a taste of la dolce vita in the midst of a pandemic, the restaurant has launched a delivery service. Passo To Go delivers make-your-own pizza kits, fresh pasta and sauce duos, as well as drinks, direct to your door, nationwide. This month, the kitchen has collaborated with LA restaurateur and Chef’s Table star Nancy Silverton to create a one-off special. The kit will include everything you need to make a sourdough pizza topped with panna, mozzarella, fennel sausage, spring onion and red onion. Trust us, it’s delicious.
Sketch At Home
Delivery newcomer Sketch at Home offers a selection of three homemade meals available for collection and delivery, seven days a week. The ‘MMmm’ menu comprises a four-course meal devised by sketch executive chef Frederic Don, with seasonal and fresh ingredients at the core of each recipe. Priced at £75 per person, it includes homemade baguettini and award-winning Abernethy butter. Sunday lunch and afternoon tea are also available to preorder. Each meal comes with two-step instructions, advising on how best to reheat and present the dish, and all packaging is recyclable.
A new fresh pasta delivery service promises to bring the simplicity of classic Italian pasta dishes direct through your letterbox. Fresh from the States, Ekook allows customers to choose from classic Roman dishes such as tonnarello cacio e pepe with black truffle; and rigatone alla gricia with artichokes and pecorino; or familiy favourites like tagliatelle bolognese with parmesan. Prices start at £5.90 for one portion and ordering is flexible with no minimum or maximum order. Inside your Ekook box you will find two QR codes: one will open into a video tutorial guiding you on how to best prepare and serve your pasta. Simon Rogan At Home
Simon Rogan At Home – the delivery experience from the multi-Michelin-starred chef behind L’Enclume, Rogan & Co and Aulis – has now launched nationwide, following the success of local deliveries during the first lockdown. On the three-course winter menu, which will change weekly, expect to see dishes such as ham hock terrine with celery oil and a mustard emulsion; guinea hen with roasted hen of the wood and a creamy mushroom sauce; and a verbena posset served with preserved blackberry and camomile cake. All customers have to do is follow simple step-by-step videos demonstrating how to prepare the dishes. Numbers are limited, so we recommend pre-ordering as far in advance as you can.
Ambassador General Store
JKS Restaurants has launched Ambassador General Store, an online retail platform offering wares from top restaurants Gymkhana, Trishna and Brigadiers. It’s a one-stop shop for ready-to-drink cocktails, restaurant-prepared meal boxes, plus chutneys and spices. Best of all, it’s available nationwide – a first for these three restaurants. The meal box experiences will reflect each restaurant’s signature style, while also offering a range of wine, beer and cocktails through the platform’s Indian off-license Daru Shop. Over the coming weeks the group will continue to develop the store offering with celebratory Diwali and Christmas specials and new beer and cocktail collaborations.

Vegan hotspot Club Mexicana has launched a collection of DIY taco boxes and cocktail kits. Delivering its Mexican/Californian-inspired dishes to homes across the UK, customers can expect monthly changing taco kits, nachos and cocktails direct to their doorstep. We like the sound of the ‘Al Pastor’ taco DIY kit for four people, which comes with homemade al pastor seitan, spiked with Mexican chillis and doused in adobado sauce, accompanied by corn tortillas, caramelised pineapple and salsa verde; and the loaded nachos, topped with ground ‘beef’, corn tortillas, jalapeno ‘cheeze’ sauce, pickled pink onions, fresh jalapenos and coriander.
Rosa’s Thai Café
Since opening its first restaurant in Spitalfields 12 years ago, Rosa’s Thai Cafe has sold over 1.4m pad thais. Now customers can make founder Saiphin Moore’s signature dish at home – without the hassle of sourcing and measuring ingredients. Padella has relaunched its at-home pasta kit delivery service, this time going nationwide. Previously launched during lockdown, Padella’s make-at-home kits have been designed to be as simple and fast as possible to cook and assemble at home. Pasta is hand-rolled fresh each day and sauces, including its renowned eight-hour Dexter beef shin ragu, are simmered slowly to ensure maximum flavour. For those at home, it’s as easy as boiling some water for the pasta, reheating the sauces and combining. With delivery available from Tuesday-Friday, Padella’s kits offer a selection of some of its favourite dishes designed to be shared between two, including fettucine with Cobble Lane cured nduja, mascarpone and lemon; and pici with sausage, fennel, chilli and peppercorn ragu.
Kolamba At Home
Kolamba At Home is a new feasting box designed by independent Sri Lankan restaurant Kolamba in Soho. The new feasting selection will be pre-cooked by the restaurant’s chefs and then packaged in heat-at-home pouches. Available nationwide, customers can choose from either a chicken or vegan option, each serving two or four people. Along with the popular ceylon chicken curry, the meaty box will also be packed with dhal and beetroot curry; green bean and coconut curry; fiery pol sambol; condiments such as seeni sambol and date and lime chutney; and basmati rice to cook at home. The vegan option will star the kitchen’s popular young jackfruit curry.
Rolled ice-cream brand Pan-N-Ice has seen huge success since it launched in 2015, setting up across locations such as Selfridges, Topshop Oxford Street and Harvey Nichols. Now, the team has designed a series of lockdown-proof DIY ice roll kits. Chef Ravinder Bhogal’s veggie and vegan delivery kits – under the name Comfort & Joy – were a lockdown highlight for many the first time around. Customers can continue to choose from six vibrant parcels to be heated at home, where cowd-pleasing dishes include dhal dhokla with paneer braised in kale, spinach and sorrel; and crispy aubergine in Sichuan caramel. The boxes can be ordered and picked up at Bhogal’s Marylebone restaurant Jikoni, delivered, or bought at both Supermarket of Dreams locations in Notting Hill and St John’s Wood. For each box sold, a meal is donated to its charity partner NishkamSWAT to help support the vulnerable in the UK.
