15 Of The Best Meal Kits To Order

15 Of The Best Meal Kits To Order

With restaurants closed for a second time this year, top spots are filling the void by creating easy-to-assemble meal kits, all of which can be delivered right to your door. From three-course menus tailored by Michelin-starred chefs, to full-on Asian feasts, here are 15 of the best.

Home By Nico

A new at-home experience from the team at Six by Nico launched with nationwide delivery this month, and the first four-course menu is based around the city of Bangkok. The kit includes a starter of hot and sour tom yum soup with prawn dumplings; and a main course of panang red curry with slow-roasted chicken, sweet potato, baby corn, pak choi, roasted peanuts, crispy shallots and Thai herbs served with sides of jasmine rice and crispy pork pad thai. A cheese course serves up Landana 500 with pineapple and nigella chutney and water crackers, and pudding will be cardamom and toasted coconut rice pudding with salted bean curd caramel and exotic fruit compote. The Home by Nico box provides two people with ready-made dishes that simply need to be assembled and finished at home, plus a bottle of wine.

Customers can continue to choose from six vibrant parcels to be heated at home, where cowd-pleasing dishes include dhal dhokla with paneer braised in kale, spinach and sorrel; and crispy aubergine in Sichuan caramel. The boxes can be ordered and picked up at Bhogal’s Marylebone restaurant Jikoni, delivered, or bought at both Supermarket of Dreams locations in Notting Hill and St John’s Wood.
