The Cool New Jewellery Collab To Know

Looking for some cool new jewellery that won't break the bank? Made In Chelsea cast member, influencer and LuxeGirl Sophie Habboo has teamed up with brand Nu & Mii for a capsule collection of stylish, wearable pieces. Here, Sophie tells us more.

What motivated you to create a jewellery collection?
I’ve always loved jewellery and enjoyed layering it – mixing and matching or wearing just one statement piece. I’m always asked about my own jewellery, which has often been passed down from my mother. I couldn’t find anything similar to recommend to people, so I thought why not create my own?

What is it you love about Nu and Mii?
Their pieces are so interchangeable, which is reflective of own my jewellery style. Everything can be worn together for a layered look, but can also be worn alone. I love both the stacked up and pared-back jewellery looks. So, a partnership with Nu and Mii made perfect sense.

I like to mix and match delicate and statement pieces, so there’s a bit of both in the collection. Whatever jewellery style you prefer, there’ll be something you’ll love.

What is the inspiration behind your collection?
I believe in the power of positivity and law of attraction, which is what inspired the collection. I also wanted to create something that not only looks stylish, but also makes the wearer feel powerful and beautiful. For example, the signet ring features the law of attraction symbol and the interlinks of the Russian ring represent strength and togetherness.

Do you have any favourite pieces from the collection?
The Russian ring really reminds me of my childhood. It’s based on a ring my mum found at a market when she was 15 and gave to me when I turned 18. People always ask me where I got it from, so it’s amazing to recreate something so personal.

I believe in the power of positivity and the law of attraction, which is why the pieces are not only designed to look stylish, but to make the wearer feel powerful, too.

What’s your signature look when it comes to jewellery?
I like to mix and match but layering statement pieces is more my signature look. It does vary season to season, however – in the summer I'm quite bohemian: lots of delicate bracelets and necklaces, whereas in the winter months I opt for bolder chunky styles. There are both statement and delicate pieces in this collection, so there’s something for everyone, whatever your preference.

Whose style inspires you?
Hailey Bieber is a personal favourite. I love how she looks so elegant and often minimal in her clothing choices, then accessorizes with oversized chunky hoops – proof that a piece of statement jewellery can totally elevate your look.

The Russian ring is one of my favourite pieces – it’s inspired by one my mum found at a market when she was 15 and gave to me when I turned 18. The interlinks represent strength and togetherness.

Any tips for doing the layered jewellery look getting it right?
The best thing you can do is go for it. Wear jewellery that expresses your personal style and remember, confidence goes a long way.
