Adam Reed

Best For: Tailor-Made Colour

Why We Rate Him: There’s very little Adam Reed can’t do when it comes to hair, but his speciality is coming up with a colour that’s very much tailor-made to you and your individual skin tone. After working at some of the biggest salons – as well as runway shows and editorial shoots – it’s safe to say what he doesn’t know about colour, isn’t worth knowing. You can trust you’re in the safest hands and that you’ll walk away with something totally unique. Find him at his new solo salon venture, Adam Reed London in Spitalfields..

Alisha Dobson

Best For: Textured Hair & Bold Colour

Why We Rate Her: You’ll find Alisha based at Bleach London – a salon with a playful approach to rainbow brights and soft pastels. One of Bleach’s longest-serving employees, she’s the person to take you outside your comfort zone, but she’s also brilliant at balyage, if that’s more your style. Rita Ora and Jessie J are fans – just take a look at her Instagram profile pre-appointment to snap some inspirational screenshots.

Bryony Cairn

Best For: A Bit Of Everything

Why We Rate Her: Based at Larry King’s salon in Westbourne Grove, Bryony has trained under some of the best in the business. She’s a must-see for balyage, but also colour in general – think bleach, highlights and newer techniques like baby lights. In short, there’s nothing Bryony can’t do for you – we love some of the looks she’s created on darker, brunette hair.

Camilla Lund

Best For: Subtle Colour Tweaks

Why We Rate Her: A firm favourite of ours here at SL, Camilla creates lived-in colour that’s both glossy and cool. We love her subtle stroke work – you’ll find the tones catch the light beautifully, without being too brassy or full-on. Expect an overall finish that’s subtle, but one which will still earn plenty of compliments.

Rebecca Harris

Best For: Effortless & Soft Colour

Why We Rate Her: Rebecca can get quite booked up, so it’s worth getting ahead of the game and securing your spot as soon as possible. Recommended for her soft approach to colour, her looks have an undone edge that feels expensive, while still maintaining that effortless, tousled effect. She’s brilliant for blondes but works with all hair tones and textures – we especially love her warmer, caramel-hued colours.
