ANDIÓN is a brand I've followed for a while and recently, I saw the collection in the flesh as part of a collaboration with Selfridges. Everything is made to order via their Instagram page – you select the fabric and shape from their archive, and they’ll send you a bespoke garment in four weeks. If you love vintage floral blouses, this one’s for you.
The Denim Shirt
Denim shirts are a key component in my wardrobe year-round. Double denim is an easy hack to make your look feel more on trend but, equally, they make a great a layering piece over t-shirts – especially when worn with a trench or blazer.
If you make one investment this spring, make it a cream blazer – it’s the simplest way to add some polish and feel more confident. This linen double-breasted style from LVIR would look just as good with a pair of denim shorts as it would with smart tailored trousers and a ribbed vest.
The Summer Bag
A basket bag is an easy way to channel that Jane Birkin French-girl vibe but sometimes you just want something a bit more polished. Cue Dragon Diffusion and their handmade woven bags…
I’m not usually a fan of dresses, but I am partial to a black cotton style come summer. The exaggerated shape on the Rhode designs is super flattering – they add inches to your legs. The smocking detail on the Totême shape is really on trend this season, too.
I recently discovered New York-based jewellery designer Anita Berisha and have fallen hard for her statement, but minimal pieces. She’s a perfect example of how to wear pearls in a modern way.
I love dad sandals but let's be honest, they can be really ugly. The ba&sh Colette pair are the perfect amount of chunky, while the leather bows still feel feminine and flattering.
