Psycle

Fans of Psycle’s heart-raising barre classes (think ballet on steroids) can get their fix on the cult studio’s IGTV. Whether you’re after a quick 20-minute arms and abs session or a deeper 45-minute burn, there’s something for everyone, including those who are pre- or post-natal. Beginners are fully catered for too, with dedicated ‘Glide & Sculpt’ classes to get you going. Combined with great music, seriously motivating instructors and minimal equipment, these results-driven sessions are well worth a try.

For those that like a little routine when working from home, Heartcore’s virtual studio is the answer. What’s more, the mental focus required will work wonders to settle anxious thoughts, putting you in a more positive mindset.

FLY LDN

We’ve long been fans of FLY LDN, the capital’s first immersive studio, where classes are set to a backdrop of incredible visuals – think snow-covered mountains and sandy beaches – designed to lull your mind away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Fortunately, the stellar team at FLY is now on Instagram, holding barre, Pilates and yoga classes at 8am, 12:30pm and 6pm daily. The best bit? No class is the same, so there’s no chance of getting bored.

Louisa Drake Method

Fusing Pilates and barre with cardio, resistance and conditioning, the Louisa Drake Method (LDM) is an A-list favourite and with good reason. Louisa’s Soho studio may be temporarily closed but her team are still on hand, serving up virtual workouts live on Zoom throughout the day. Sculpt and Stretch, which combines LDM’s signature strengthening with unique mobility techniques, is our personal favourite. Barrecore

Barre Live, Barrecore’s latest online iteration, offers the same full-body workout and skilled instruction as the studio’s renowned classes. Streamed live over Zoom, these sessions have a real community feel and are proven to sculpt long and lean physiques, whatever your fitness level. If you prefer to do classes in your own time, Barrecore’s on-demand service, where you can filter classes by type, duration and required equipment, is also well worth a try.
