Like using two high-end products in one, not only does it harness the firming, retexturing, line-reducing power of retinol – the gold-standard of anti-aging ingredients – but antioxidant-rich vitamin C too, which works to brighten and even out skin tone. It’s not just any old vitamin C either, but L-ascorbic acid (100% vitamin C for maximum efficacy), wrapped in volcanic soil from Jeju Island in South Korea, which helps to keep it stabilised without needing to be stored in the fridge. It’s also packed with vegetal extract from the physalis angulate plant, which both helps protect skin’s collagen and elastin from the damaging effects of infrared and visible light, and provides a soothing effect to help protect from any potential sensitivity to retinol or vitamin C.
