Growing up, I struggled with my hair because the products available weren’t hydrating or nourishing enough for my texture. I decided early on I would take matters into my own hands. My mum and I made our own homemade natural products in the kitchen using oils, butters and extracts from local health stores. I discovered first hand it was possible to take simple, natural ingredients and create formulas that could transform your hair, skin and body.” ## THE STORY BEHIND BRIOGEO “My professional career started at a large financial firm in New York. Then my world changed when my mum suddenly passed away. The loss was tremendous and incredibly difficult to cope with. However, it made me see how short life is and that you should fill it with work that ignites passion and positivity. I realised I had a deep desire to make a larger impact on the natural beauty world. I started doing my own research and found consumers were actively seeking out clean and effective products, yet there was a huge gap in that market. I do my best to get eight hours a night, so everything looks and feels more refreshed in the morning. Also, you are what you eat.
