It's an investment piece but it’s extremely versatile. It always looks chic and will last forever. Use it as a drinks tray displayed on top of a chest of drawers or sideboard. The brand also sells wonderful marbled papers and Japanese screen prints which always add interest to a wall. I often use the accessories, too – specifically the [John Derian paperweights](https://choosingkeeping.com/collections/john-derian-paperweights) and [Mochaware pen pots](https://choosingkeeping.com/collections/pen-pots). I love that it provides some height and texture to a space, but the scale also makes it very practical. We often use it as a fruit bowl but it looks just as good left empty. Our favourite is ['The Stitch’](https://holmesbespoke.com/shopcollections/p/stitch-seagrass), which is also available as a stair runner. Simple in its design, it lends itself to both contemporary and traditional spaces and we often change the ground colours according to the design to pull everything together. You can craftily layer a space with a stack of books on a bedside table accompanied with an antique vase for subtle detailing. There's rarely an interior that wouldn’t benefit from having one of her pieces in the space. Her use of colour is sophisticated and dynamic, and every piece of work stands on its own.
