Whether it’s a more formal tablescape or a casual setting you’re creating, the porcelain beads strung on a velvet ribbon work with everything. You can get them in a variety of colours, and some designs have a splatter finish. *Available at* [THETABLELOVE.COM](https://thetablelove.com/products/the-orb-napkin-ring-ceramic?variant=41220537811115) [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/yF8y_mklVn43nqxQ155sTxWXQls=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-by-lydia-big-boy-cusshion_1.jpg) ](https://www.bylydia.co/shop/p/big-boy-cushion) ## Big Boy Cushion #### from £230 | By Lydia I used to layer about six cushions on my bed, with a bolster and a throw in tow. Making it therefore took longer than my make-up routine, so when I saw this oversized, ruffle-finished striped cushion, I streamlined – although the throw was allowed to stay. It’s high on impact and so much lower on maintenance. *Available at* [BYLYDIA.CO](https://www.bylydia.co/shop/p/big-boy-cushion) --- [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/BkeSSO7MfSf5mm6XxhiKL8K8RR8=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-purmina-candle.jpg) ](https://purnimafragrances.com/products/rose-ceramic) ## Rose Ceramic Candle #### £255 | Purnima It’s fair to say both the fragrances and the vessels drew me to Purnima’s candles. Combing the knowledge of an English perfumer with the craftsmanship of a leading ceramic artist and sculptor, the large three-wick Rose candle looks as good as it smells. The ceramic vessel with its hand sculpted logo is also handmade in Stoke-on-Trent. Since launching, founder Daisy Brown has mastered the art of creating pieces that feel both entirely of the moment and effortlessly timeless. This side table is the perfect example – crafted from burl wood, it brings depth and character to a neutral scheme and works well in any room. The varnished finish adds just the right amount of glossiness too. *Available at* [SIXTHERESIDENCE.CO.UK](https://www.sixtheresidence.co.uk/collections/tables/products/burl-side-table) [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/H6arFC--RVa2SyVDWJpstJVYAVo=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-rebecca-udall-glass-tumbler-alicia.jpg) ](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=63582&awinaffid=69421&ued=https%3A%2F%2Frebeccaudall.com%2Fproducts%2Falicia-murano-glass-tumblers) ## Alicia Murano Glass Tumblers #### £42 | Rebecca Udall Few homeware brands do glassware better than Rebecca Udall. I love her designs and have two sets of glasses – the [Rippled Tumblers](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=63582&awinaffid=69421&ued=https%3A%2F%2Frebeccaudall.com%2Fcollections%2Fglassware%2Fproducts%2Fpair-of-rippled-tumblers) for every day (stronger than they look) and the [Alicia](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=63582&awinaffid=69421&ued=https%3A%2F%2Frebeccaudall.com%2Fproducts%2Falicia-murano-glass-tumblers%3F_pos%3D1%26_sid%3D443f1b09c%26_ss%3Dr) for special occasions. I love Murano glass and while I’m a fan of coloured glassware – especially the confetti designs – there’s a simplicity in the white swirling pattern that’s very appealing. *Available at* [REBECCAUDALL.COM](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=63582&awinaffid=69421&ued=https%3A%2F%2Frebeccaudall.com%2Fproducts%2Falicia-murano-glass-tumblers) --- [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/sa8qW2xGVgcrvNZpRF1OrcLZWzo=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-original-btc-blossom-rechargale.jpg) ](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=36596&awinaffid=69421&ued=https%3A%2F%2Foriginalbtc.com%2Fproducts%2Fblossom-portable-light%3Fvariant%3D54142470455622) ## Blossom Portable Light #### £499 | Original BTC There are a lot of portable, rechargeable lamps around and I’m a fan. In the summer, they add a lovely ambience for outside dining, and when the nights draw in, I love the pockets of light they deliver indoors. My favourite is the Blossom from Original BTC. It feels substantial and permanent – lots of portable lamps don’t – and the way the light glows through the bone china shade is so pretty. *Available at* [ORIGINALBTC.COM](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=36596&awinaffid=69421&ued=https%3A%2F%2Foriginalbtc.com%2Fproducts%2Fblossom-portable-light%3Fvariant%3D54142470455622) --- [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/BxpMwZLoe50QpzMUQUJKdCTLzVk=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-jo-laing-ceramic-matchbox_0.jpg) ](https://jolaing.com/products/toujours-ceramic-matchbox) ## Toujours Ceramic Matchbox #### £65 | Jo Laing Confession: I bought this for my husband one Valentine’s Day but it was – without a doubt – a gift for myself. I love Jo’s artwork and the story behind these matchboxes is so charming. Jo came across some ceramic matchboxes on holiday in Amalfi and tried to find more. When she couldn’t, she decided to create her own, and a collection was born. Next, I have my eye on [Pickled Mouse](https://jolaing.com/products/the-pickled-mouse-ceramic-matchbox). *Available at* [JOLAING.COM](https://jolaing.com/products/toujours-ceramic-matchbox) [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/ivBM7TFjd2vKSEJkI62OaxBJseM=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-issy-granger-pink-double-napkinds-set-of-4.jpg) ](https://www.issygranger.com/collections/linen/products/pink-double-piped-linen-napkins-set-of-four) ## Double Piped Linen Napkins #### £95 for four | Issy Granger Fresh but still classic, these linen napkins strike the perfect balance – generously sized without being over the top. Naturally, I chose them in my favourite colour pairing: pink and green. I love the double-piped edge in that zingy pea green, while the pink has a beautifully washed-out, nostalgic quality. *Available at* [ISSYGRANGER.COM](https://www.issygranger.com/collections/linen/products/pink-double-piped-linen-napkins-set-of-four) --- [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/XoZx-LfqSz-_Z08-tPvSuhRtnR4=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-lindi-aged-brass-lamp-and-lights.jpg) ](https://lightsandlamps.com/products/lindi-bronze-and-linen-floor-lamp) ## Lindi Aged Brass & Linen Scalloped Floor Lamp #### £389 | Light&Lamps My lighting go-to is lights&lamps. From contemporary table lamps to statement chandeliers to quiet task lighting, you will find what you want here. The latest addition to my bedroom is the Lindl floor lamp. It creates the perfect mood lighting and the soft linen pleats on the oversized shade help it filter through beautifully. *Available at* [LIGHTANDLAMPS.COM](https://lightsandlamps.com/products/lindi-bronze-and-linen-floor-lamp) --- [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/fQ8xvLlcVoF0DK8_Nv4tLs3PBdc=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-dusk-regent-bedding-rangwe.jpg) ](https://dusk.com/products/bloomsbury-duvet-cover-1000-thread-count-white?variant=48474365952297) ## Bloomsbury 1000 Thread Count Duvet Cover #### £95 | DUSK I love all kinds of bedding – as long as it’s white. From ruffled edges to embroidered trims, piped corners to curvy scallops, I’m here for all of it. I was never overly concerned about thread count, as the feel of linen is so personal, but when I tried the Dust Bloomsbury bedlinen – which is 1,000 thread count – I was surprised. It’s heavy but cool, crisp but soft – in short, everything you want it to be. On a very hot night, if you take the duvet out, it gives you the perfect amount of weight for a top cover. *Available at* [DUSK.COM](https://dusk.com/products/bloomsbury-duvet-cover-1000-thread-count-white?variant=48474365952297) [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/wfNPkg4h9zvJqyIyiokGh3J-6lg=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-woven-rosa-wave-dinner-plates.jpg) ](https://www.wovenrosa.com/shop/p/wave-dinner-plate-espresso) ## Wave Dinner Plate #### from £30 | woven rosa As a rule, I like my tableware plain and simple, so the food can do the talking, but I couldn’t resist this design from Woven Rosa. Inspired by the dynamic and colourful Spanish coast of Valencia, where the ceramics are handmade in a small family-run workshop, the warm shades mirror the bright umbrellas that line the beaches. Even so, I use them all year round. *Available at* [WOVENROSA.COM](https://www.wovenrosa.com/shop/p/wave-dinner-plate-espresso) --- [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/dk88qdCfKFamXuTczu_G03uDwu0=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-next-x-nina-cmapbell-small-table-lamp-green_0.jpg) ](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=etT1jgERWYw&mid=53096&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.next.co.uk%2Fstyle%2Fst915305%2F968827) ## Evelyn Small Table Lamp #### £75 | NEXT X NINA CAMPBELL I have one of these on each beside table. The green feels calm in the bedroom but the glossy ceramic finish makes them feel that little bit more luxe. Finished with a neutral shade complete with matching green piping, it’s the perfect piece – interesting but not overpowering. *Available at* [NEXT.CO.UK](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=etT1jgERWYw&mid=53096&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.next.co.uk%2Fstyle%2Fst915305%2F968827) --- [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/ttbSMabSbf1CG6BFhwwULOxCv_c=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-oka-tainoo-stool.jpg) ](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=etT1jgERWYw&mid=46541&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.oka.com%2Fproducts%2Ftaino-bar-stool-natural) ## Taino Bar Stool #### £295 | OKA It can be challenging to find kitchen stools that are supportive, stylish and quietly make a statement, but I just replaced two metal bar stools with these OKA designs after eyeing them up for quite some time on Instagram, and then seeing them in person when filming a recent home tour. A ten out of ten for comfort, the woven, curved back is not only supportive but it also looks good from all angles. *Available at* [OKA.COM](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=etT1jgERWYw&mid=46541&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.oka.com%2Fproducts%2Ftaino-bar-stool-natural) [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/NSHpZsPhTtnSc-KAxJ_diyQIwsE=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-laura-hammett-taylor-cushiion.jpg) ](https://laurahammettliving.com/products/taylor-cushion) ## Taylor Cushion #### £130 | Laura Hammett Recently, I wanted to change the cushions in my living room – they were tired, faded and the fillings had lost their oomph. I wanted something classic but elevated that would still work with my existing sofas. Interior designer Laura Hammett has a range of styles and designs, all of which draw on a neutral but interesting colour palette. Using her online guide for pairings, I went for an understated velvet cushion overlaid with an intricately woven design. *Available at* [LAURAHAMMETTLIVING.COM](https://laurahammettliving.com/products/taylor-cushion) --- [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/61Ry_9DLpbNjK_VhQ7EuomOBtP0=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-tall-boy-trined-tablel-lamp.jpg) ](https://www.tallboyinteriors.co.uk/products/thistle-turned-wood-table-lamp-north-sea) ## 'Thistle' Turned Wood Table Lamp #### £295 | Tallboy Interiors I came across Tallboy Interiors when I was researching a feature on antiques – founder Matt and his Yorkshire team source particularly good sofas and chairs that are reupholstered to the highest standard. Now, there’s a stunning showroom you can visit that houses a range of new products designed by Matt and made by talented craftspeople from around the county and the UK. I love this lamp, which I paired with this [wavy](https://munroandkerr.co.uk/collections/collaboration) shade. *Available at* [TALLBOYINTERIORS.CO.UK](https://www.tallboyinteriors.co.uk/products/thistle-turned-wood-table-lamp-north-sea) --- [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/6xELefIqt9pdQ2mBZHB6v8oFGL4=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-neptine-malpas-scalloped-marble-bowl.jpg) ](https://www.neptune.com/products/malpas-scalloped-marble-bowl?_pos=1&_sid=381b557d3&_ss=r) ## Malpas Scalloped Marble Bowl #### £95 | Neptune I can never resist a dish, trinket bowl or catchall – and this fluted marble design is a favourite. It perfectly balances the weight and texture of natural stone with the playfulness of its wavy edge. I keep mine on the coffee table, where it contrasts against the wood and serves as the ideal spot to take off my jewellery before settling in for a box set. *Available at* [NEPTUNE.COM](https://www.neptune.com/products/malpas-scalloped-marble-bowl?_pos=1&_sid=381b557d3&_ss=r) [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/V7jEXQ6IaqlBU3S58gSsOCXl5T4=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-luke-elwes.jpg) ](https://www.lukeelwes.com/) ## Luke Elwes Artwork #### Price Upon Request | Luke Elwes Nothing grounds me more than getting lost in my Luke Elwes painting. Gently layered and beautifully washed, there’s something so peaceful about it. *Visit* [LUKEELWES.COM](https://www.lukeelwes.com/) --- [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/rNj5j_FZyoRTOlJ2Byi0Kbch4gE=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-house-nine-the-adley-tray.jpg) ](https://www.housenine.co.uk/products/the-little-hyacinth-basket) ## The Adley Tray #### £150 | House Nine You can never have too many trays. I’m borderline obsessed with his process – each piece is hand-built using a slab-building technique, crafted from layers of coloured clay and finished with a high-gloss glaze that reveals a distinctive pattern beneath. It’s a true showstopper on my dining table. Last year, I also joined Henry for [a workshop](https://www.henryhollandstudio.com/collections/studio-workshops) to make my own mug and I’m so pleased with it. *Available at* [HENRYHOLLANDSTUDIO.COM](https://www.henryhollandstudio.com/products/blue-white-medium-chalice-bowl) [ ![](https://media.sheerluxe.com/F3bhXGUpaC0BNJ6V9d_eygbe_lg=/800x0/smart/https%3A%2F%2Fsheerluxe.com%2Fsites%2Fsheerluxe%2Ffiles%2Farticles%2F2025%2F10%2Fsl-gb-home-pooky-pixi-rechargebale-wall-and-picture-light.jpg) ](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=20426&awinaffid=69421&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pooky.com%2Fproducts%2Fpixii-rechargeable-wall-and-picture-light%3Fvariant%3D41669498568909) ## Pixii Rechargeable Wall & Picture Light #### £100 | Pooky In my downstairs loo, there’s one overhead light which is very bright and not on a dimmer.
