The S/S Party Piece* I love the belted robe dress from [Phoebe Philo](https://www.phoebephilo.com/en-eu/products/belted-robe-dress-salty-white-silk). I'm not really one for parties – or rather, my idea of a big night is a long lunch or a quick cocktail. The less time I have to spend getting ready, the more I'll enjoy myself, which is exactly why this dress appeals to me. It's effortlessly chic, easy to throw on, and versatile enough to look just as cool layered up in winter as it does on its own. ### *2. The Cover-Up* I recently bought a vintage denim jacket in a tiny size, so it has that perfectly shrunken fit. The washed-out blue goes with absolutely everything, making it one of the easiest pieces to throw on. The Shoe* I'm very much a flats person – my maximum heel height is a tiny kitten heel. In the city, I rarely wear open shoes, so it’s either an all-black [suede Birkenstock](https://www.birkenstock.com/gb/arizona-suede-leather/arizonabs-234713-suedeleather-0-eva-u_1.html) sandal with black socks or a Chanel [Ballerina](https://www.vestiairecollective.com/women-shoes/flats/chanel/brown-leather-chanel-flats-67196633.shtml). I just got a beautiful chocolate-brown pair with red toes from Matthieu Blazy’s first collection, which I love. ### *4. The Dress* I love a nuisette – a simple white cotton nightgown. The Bavarian versions are beautiful, but since I live in Paris, it's much easier for me to get my hands on the French kind. My advice is to hunt through as many vintage shops as you can; it's the only way to find the really special ones. The Bag* I recently discovered the net bag from [Hereu](https://hereustudio.com/products/calella-filt-knitted-cotton-net-bag-terracota), and I love how effortlessly cool it is. It's surprisingly spacious and somehow makes every outfit feel a little more relaxed. Otherwise, I always gravitate towards a small suede shoulder bag. My green Pierre Hardy version and the brown [Gig bag](https://www.phoebephilo.com/products/gig-bag-in-cognac-leather) from Phoebe Philo are both in constant rotation. In summer, though, you can never go wrong with a basket bag – [Sézane](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=30297&awinaffid=69421&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.sezane.com%2Fen-en%2Fproduct%2Fjustine-basket-bag%2Fnatural-perforated-raffia%23size-TU) always has fabulous ones. ### *6. Jewellery Update* I am the face of British jewellery brand [Otiumberg’s](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=etT1jgERWYw&mid=44959&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fotiumberg.com%2F) AW26 campaign, so naturally there are quite a few of the brand’s beautiful pieces on my wish list. Their stone-set [ear cuffs](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=etT1jgERWYw&mid=44959&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fotiumberg.com%2Fcollections%2Fear-cuffs) are incredible – they might just be the first ear cuffs I've found that stay put all day, even with a head of tangled hair, without pinching or hurting my ears. The Denim* In summer, I love a pair of shorts cut just below the knee – ideally vintage [Levi's](https://www.rokit.co.uk/collections/vintage-levis-shorts). They always have the best fit and the perfectly faded wash gives them an effortless cool. ### *9. The Sunglasses* First of all, I have one rule: glasses should always make you look better, never weird or funny. I tend to gravitate towards black or dark tortoiseshell frames in a classic, slightly upturned square shape. At the other end of the spectrum, I also love an oversized, Oakley-inspired style with a real eighties feel. ### *10. The Luggage* I love a beautiful packing system. Beauty Essential* I love Victoria Beckham Beauty. Her [lip liners](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=etT1jgERWYw&mid=50465&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fvictoriabeckhambeauty.com%2Fen-gb%2Fproducts%2Flip-definer) are always the perfect shade and never look too harsh. I also swear by the [Contour Stylus](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=etT1jgERWYw&mid=50465&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fvictoriabeckhambeauty.com%2Fen-gb%2Fproducts%2Fcontour-stylus) and the [eyeshadows.](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=etT1jgERWYw&mid=50465&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fvictoriabeckhambeauty.com%2Fen-gb%2Fproducts%2Feye-wardrobe) The formulas are beautiful, and the packaging alone makes them a joy to use. I haven't worn coloured nail polish in years. I much prefer a natural, impeccably groomed nail – it always feels chic, especially when you're dressed up, and it's one less thing to maintain. As for mascara, I swear by [Hermès](https://www.hermes.com/uk/en/product/revitalizing-care-mascara-noir-fusain-V60510EV001/). It gives the effect of freshly tinted lashes: defined, lifted, and polished, but never obviously made up. ### *12. The Beauty Tool* It will always be my good old Mason Pearson [brush](https://masonpearson.com/product/large-extra-boar-bristle-hairbrush-b1/). It quite literally rescued my hair after a dramatic breakup with porcelain-white bleach and it's still the one thing that keeps it under control now that it's almost impossible to manage. I wouldn't be without it. Skincare Hero* Lots of hydration from the inside with filtered water – [Ecofiltro](https://ecofiltroeurope.com/products/ecofiltro-water-filter-5l-white) does a great job without eliminating all the good minerals. Then I book regular facials that rejuvenate and calm the skin. I do a combination of acupuncture/face massage and have a [Biologique Recherche](https://biologiquerechercheuk.co.uk/treatments/face) facial every other month. No harsh treatments, no overdoing products and masks and no more than a three-step routine. And sunscreen, of course – [U Beauty](https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=29063&awinaffid=69421&ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cultbeauty.co.uk%2Fp%2Fu-beauty-multimodal-sheer-mineral-spf-25%2F16112578%2F) has a lovely one and I love [Darling sunscreen](https://www.darlingsun.com/products/cloud-drop-spf-50) as well. ### *14. The Scent* I'm completely obsessed with [Diptyque](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=etT1jgERWYw&mid=44297&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.diptyqueparis.com%2Fen_uk%2F)’s Sapin scent candle. Although it's considered a Christmas scent, I burn it year-round. Lighting it in the evening instantly makes me feel cosy and calm – it's one of those small rituals I never tire of. When it comes to perfume, I've long loved almost every Hermes scent. In summer, though, I always find myself reaching for [Vetiver Tonka](https://selfridges.prf.hn/click/camref:1100loTp9/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.selfridges.com%2FGB%2Fen%2Fproduct%2Fhermes-hermessence-collection-vetiver-tonka-eau-de-toilette-200ml_171-3005305-29752%2F). It's become my signature warm-weather scent. #### *15. The Podcast* I'm a German horse girl at heart and my podcast choices definitely reflect that. On the rare occasions I stray from them, I love listening to [Bella Freud](https://open.spotify.com/show/5u12Pe78N9yaQWRWWoXZTK)'s Conversations. They're so soothing, thoughtful and wise. I particularly enjoyed the episodes with Jerry Hall – she's enormous fun – and Stephen Jones, which I absolutely loved. ### *16. The Store* I do almost all of my vintage shopping online. I know, it sounds odd. But I'm a mum of four – two boys, one horse and one cat, I have a job and there are only so many hours in the day. Most of my shopping happens on the train or while my coffee is brewing. [Vinted](https://www.vinted.co.uk/), [Sellpy](https://www.sellpy.com/), [Vestiaire](https://www.vestiairecollective.com/), [Re-See](https://www.resee.com/en/) – you name it, I'm on it. I'm always searching for vintage Prada and Nicolas Ghesquière-era Balenciaga, that particular obsession hasn't changed in over 15 years. Increasingly, I'm discovering wonderful no-name pieces on Vinted. It's become such a brilliantly curated platform, full of unexpected treasures. ### *17. The Book* I tend to read several books at any one time and these are often linked to the place I’m in. So at the moment it's [*Madame Pompadour*](https://amzn.to/4peXgiH) by Nancy Mitford and the [*Time Traveller’s Guide to Medieval England*](https://amzn.to/44khBcE) by Ian Mortimer. And I am endlessly on the hunt for old-fashioned cotton tablecloths with lace embroidery. ### *20. The Wish List Hotel* A trip on the [Belmond Venice Simplon](https://www.belmond.com/trains/europe/venice-simplon-orient-express/) is my dream – whether it's winding through to Italy or heading north to Scotland. Scotland, in particular, really appeals to me; I love the fresh air, the wild landscapes and the feeling of space. When it comes to hotels, I'm drawn to timeless classics. [Gleneagles](https://gleneagles.com/) has, in my opinion, the best breakfast in the world. And the [Hotel du Palais in Biarritz](https://www.hyatt.com/unbound-collection/de-DE/biqub-hotel-du-palais-biarritz) is unforgettable with its incredible views over one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. I was lucky enough to stay there for Chanel's Cruise show after-party, which made it even more special. ### *21.
