Here’s how it went. [ Save To My Favourites ](/user/login?destination=/markdownify/node/53630) Created in partnership with Dylon ## 4AM: THE AIRPORT OUTFIT My day started bright and early with a 4am pick-up to Heathrow Airport T5. As most people know, I love to dress up for the airport, so even at that hour I wasn’t about to sacrifice the outfit. I wore checked balloon trousers with a black crop top by Nigerian designer Trends by Cocoa, paired with Jude heels and my Loewe bag. After a short flight to Copenhagen, I checked into 1 Hotel, squeezed in a quick outfit change and headed straight to Soho House for breakfast before the day properly got underway. ## 4PM: THE COMEBACK COLLECTION Next, I headed to The Comeback Collection catwalk show, an immersive experience that felt like stepping through fashion history. Before the show even started, we were treated to cocktails and canapés and invited to explore the different [Dylon]() spaces. There was everything from The Comeback Collection Wall and giant washing machines to a mini bowling alley and a second-hand fashion book corner. Naturally, I couldn’t resist picking one up and went for *The Complete Book of Oscar Fashion: Variety’s 75 Years of Glamour on the Red Carpet*. Given that the show was all about revisiting iconic looks from decades past and celebrating fashion’s ability to make a comeback, it felt like a particularly apt choice. The collection was curated by Victoria Lee, Dylon Detergent’s Fashion Director and brought together iconic looks inspired by cultural figures spanning nine decades of fashion. Moving through the space, it was a reminder of just how cyclical style really is: the pieces we once loved have a habit of finding their way back into our wardrobes. The experience was created using Dylon Detergent to give those comeback pieces a new lease of life rather than constantly replacing them. Dylon Detergent cleans and renews clothes, helping them look and feel newer for longer – something that feels particularly relevant when so many of the trends we’re wearing now have been borrowed from decades past. It certainly had me thinking about the forgotten gems in my own wardrobe that might be ready for a comeback. For Rochelle, it starts with being more considerate about what we bring into our wardrobes in the first place. “Buy smart. Invest in pieces you know you’ll wear over and over again – the things that will always come back around,” she told me. That philosophy extends to looking after old favourites, too. “Some of my holiday pieces I’ve had for so long. I love bringing them out again each year, refreshing them with Dylon Detergent and making the most of what I already own.” And when it comes to investment pieces, Rochelle is proof that classics really do stand the test of time. “A Burberry trench is probably the piece I’ve had the longest that I still wear regularly. It’s a classic – season after season, it still gets constant wear.” For her, knowing exactly what’s already hanging in her wardrobe is key: “Knowing your wardrobe helps you buy less and buy smarter. I devoured bolognese rigatoni, tenderstem broccoli and a side of garlic new potatoes – I’m all about a double carb for dinner. After skincare, it was time for bed. It was definitely one of the shows I’d been most excited to see. The SS27 show marked the Danish designer’s return to the Copenhagen Fashion Week schedule after three seasons away. Known for her joyful approach to Scandinavian style, Goya delivered the colour, playful silhouettes and expressive prints you’d hope for, offering a welcome contrast to the minimalism we so often associate with Scandi dressing. I loved seeing pieces that felt statement-making but still incredibly wearable – exactly the kind of clothes that make you want to have a little more fun with your wardrobe. It was the perfect way to kick off my second day in Copenhagen. ## 12PM: COFFEE & CARDAMOM BUNS After the show, I headed to Louise Roe Gallery for a much-needed iced chai and cardamom bun. Part café, part interiors shop, it’s one of those beautifully curated Copenhagen spaces where you want to photograph everything – from the sculptural furniture and lighting to the ceramics and tableware. The Roe Bar sits within the gallery, so you can have a coffee and something sweet while taking in Louise Roe’s distinctly minimalist Danish aesthetic. ## 1PM: A LITTLE SHOPPING One of my favourite things about Copenhagen is just how walkable it is. I love being able to leave a show and wander through the city, popping into shops along the way. Around central Copenhagen, there are plenty worth adding to your list, including Stine Goya on Gothersgade, Illums Bolighus for gorgeous Danish design and HAY House – ideal if, like me, you can never resist a little interiors browse. ## 3PM: TIME TO GO Sadly, my 36 hours were almost up. After one last wander, it was back in a car and off to the airport to catch my afternoon flight home.
