Its collections span everything from luxury nursery furniture to more contemporary pieces for older children, combining British craftsmanship with a modern approach to design. Here’s everything you need to know… [ Save To My Favourites ](/user/login?destination=/markdownify/node/54372) Created in partnership with Dragons of Walton Street ## The New Chapter Founded in London in 1979, [Dragons of Walton Street](https://dragonsofwaltonstreet.com/?utm_source=sheerluxe&utm_medium=paid_editorial&utm_campaign=sl_heirloom_nursery_2026&utm_content=homepage) is entering a new chapter. The British brand, known for its hand-painted nursery furniture and storybook-inspired interiors, is reintroducing itself to a new generation of design-conscious parents with a collection that brings together heritage craftsmanship and contemporary children’s design. They should encourage imagination, curiosity and self-expression, while feeling as considered and characterful as the rest of the home. Each piece is beautifully made by a skilled craftsman with ornate hand-finished details. Its pieces are designed to become part of childhood memories, with an emphasis on quality, longevity and the kind of timeless appeal that allows them to be treasured and passed down. Alongside cots and wardrobes, the range includes play tables, toy boxes and decorative accessories, allowing parents to create a complete nursery from one distinctive collection. Each collection is built around its own story and cast of characters, which are hand-painted across the pieces so that the whole room tells that story together. The hand-painted furniture is central to the brand’s identity, with the collection built around the idea of a complete, considered space rather than a series of individual products. This is what makes Dragons of Walton Street such an appealing destination for parents looking to create a nursery with a strong sense of story and personality from the very beginning. Known for his collaborations with some of Italy’s leading furniture houses, Colombo has reinterpreted the brand’s iconic dragon characters in a more sculptural, modern design language. Aimed at children from approximately four to 11 (and beyond), Dragon’s House offers a natural progression from nursery to luxury kids' room furniture. Its cleaner, more contemporary pieces are designed to sit comfortably within modern interiors, while retaining the imagination and storytelling that have always been central to the brand.
