Jessie Thomas

British fine-jewellery designer Jessie Thomas will launch her new collection, Clusters, this month. Hand-crafted in 18ct gold and diamonds, the collection echoes the typically luxurious yet unfussy aesthetic of the brand, as well as the fluidity found in previous collections. With a focus on clustered diamonds and unusual setting techniques, expect to browse delicate pieces contrasted with chunkier rings and earrings – the ear cuffs, wavy rings and delicate necklaces are all scattered with a range of precious stones. All the designs are handmade in Jessie’s London workshop that she shares with her father – the celebrated master goldsmith David Thomas – and use 100% recycled gold and responsibly sourced diamonds.

The Clusters collection is available from 6th April.

Highland Kings Luxe Ultramarathon

‘Race like a warrior, recover like a king’ is the Highland Kings ultramarathon motto. A challenge like no other, it includes a 120-mile, four-day run across the wilderness of Scotland’s west coast, with space for a select 40 participants. Racers will be treated to world-class preparation – think personal mentoring by some of the biggest names in sport – as well as personalised aftercare, including a butler service and gourmet food prepared by Michelin-starred chef Alan Murchison. The benefits don’t end there – you’ll also be put up in luxe accommodation, while speedboat transfers will get you from A to B. Be sure to check out the purpose-built athlete’s lounge for on-site massages.

Andrés Otálora

This season, Andrés Otálora is the name to know. The latest evolution of the Colombian designer's feminine, Latin American-tinged style is a collection of beautiful silk evening dresses. With details like fanned origami pleats, intricate drapery and woven jacquard patterns, these are stunning pieces for any time of year.

Dior Flagship on Avenue Montaigne

Following an epic two-year renovation, the new Dior flagship on Avenue Montaigne is now open. Offering a 360° look at the French fashion house’s history, visitors will be able to soak up the world of Dior through a new gallery space – one of the largest exhibition spaces dedicated to fashion in France – as well as at restaurants Monsieur Dior and Pâtisserie Dior. The two eateries are both led by renowned French chef Jean Imbert, and there are also gardens and an expansive guest suite to explore. Spanning a massive 10,000sq m space, the flagship celebrates the savoir-faire of haute couture, alongside all the ready-to-wear, leather goods and jewellery you’d expect to find on offer, not to mention a generous helping of beauty products, too.

David Hockney, 220 for 2020

When the pandemic hit in 2020, artist David Hockney locked down at his picturesque Normandy farmhouse and spent the year observing the changing seasons. Using his iPad to capture his impressions of the surrounding landscape – a technique Hockney has employed throughout his most recent exhibitions – the collection of 220 works is a celebration of nature. By his own admission, the project became a lifeline for Hockney during the COVID lockdown, from which he spread his inspirational message: “Remember, they can’t cancel the spring”. All the iPad paintings are printed with up to seven special colours to match the richness of the artist’s vision, and the book is accompanied by a smaller extra volume of ink and watercolour drawings: the complete facsimiles of two sketchbooks from 2019, starting from the artist’s LA home and following him on scouting trips around Normandy.

Casa Fantini

An hour outside Milan, Casa Fantini sits on the edge of beautiful Lake Orta. The hotel was designed by world-famous Italian architect Piero Lissoni, who has created a space that celebrates the slow pace of its environment and is filled with beautiful vintage furniture and artwork. As well as a pool and plenty of entertaining spaces, the five-star hotel has nine large bedrooms and two suites, making it an ideal space for large family holidays or parties with friends. Super Rooms come with a spacious terrace with lakefront views overlooking the gardens and all bedrooms have luxury bathrooms complete with steam room showers and Fantini Rubinetti bathroom fixtures. Opening to guests on 15th April, exclusive rental starts at €80,000 per week.

Clients range from children to those in their 90s, and that includes the likes of chef Marcus Wareing and Princess Alia Al Tabbaa of Jordan. An annual fee of £12,000 will help you keep tabs on your overall wellness, with the goal of catching any imbalances before illnesses occur.
