Lulu Lytle and Sophie Coryndon’s shared love of medieval manuscripts and Renaissance art is at the heart of their new fabric and wallpaper collab. The patterns they’ve developed are designed to draw the viewer into a subtle world of often-overlooked imagery – from the punched gold background of a Pre-Reformation altar panel to the tapestry of wildflowers in a Renaissance painting. The Embroidered Napkin Company

Heidi Lawton launched The Embroidered Napkin Company after making many of the items for her own wedding in 2008, including the embroidered napkins. Now, she specialises in making bespoke napkins for weddings, fine dining and corporate events – but you can also choose any one of her designs for smaller, personal celebrations such as Mother’s Day, Easter, anniversaries and birthdays. Expect to find pretty floral patterns, as well as calligraphy-based designs which will work as an elaborate place setting.

The Invisible Collection x Malaika

Also marking International Women’s Day, The Invisible Collection will present a collection of ornate handmade linens by Malaika, an Egyptian-based brand reviving the honoured tradition of hand-embroidery to provide a sustainable income for local women. Comprising bed linens, tablecloths and napkins, the collection is handwoven by women trained at Threads of Hope School, which is based in downtown Cairo, that aims to support women to generate their own income, as well as providing an on-site nursery, nutritious free meals and yearly breast cancer check-ups. The Invisible Collection commits 100% of all sales to the school and Malaika’s factory, which currently employs 100 women. Linens will be available in an array of colours and can be monogrammed, too.

Deciem Home Fragrance

The Ordinary’s sister brand Deciem, has launched its first home fragrance called SHOP. The brand’s late founder Brandon Truaxe partnered with London-based perfumer and friend, Azzi Glasser, to create the scent, which Azzi describes as "capturing the essence of DECIEM's abnormal, yet welcoming space, through the construction of notes and accords that blend together as a unique DNA print.” Expect to find black poivre, enhanced by the nature of cypress oil, guaiac wood, sequoia, and fresh cedar amplified by balsamic notes of labdanum resin, white amber crystals, white musk, and patchouli.

Museum Of The Home Online Charity Auction

Skye McAlpine, Anya Hindmarch and Retrouvius are among some of the designers, studios and brands offering stellar prizes as part of an online auction later this month, which hopes to raise money for a new female homelessness campaign. The Museum of the Home – formerly the Geffrye Museum – will launch the auction on 19th March, offering 40 donated unique pieces and exclusive experiences to the highest bidders. All proceeds will go towards the Museum's new charity campaign, Behind the Door, in aid of homelessness for women and families, which spans a group of more than 25 organisations including Shelter and Centrepoint.
