On The Runway

Stella McCartney sent ethereal, airy chiffon dresses adorned with delicate ruffles and frills down her SS24 runway, while Zimmermann went all out with tiered chiffon dresses and blossom floral fabrics. Molly Goddard tapped into the trend with gathered tulle and floor-length skirts shirred at the hip with ruffled petticoats.

SS24 is all about EMBRACING FEMININITY in a COOL AND EFFORTLESS WAY – think BREEZY SILHOUETTES, delicate fabrics, and ruffles.

How To Wear It Now

The key is to stay on the right side of grown up. It’s important to create contrast and balance too – think a ruffled skirt with a basic tank, a floaty top with loose denim, and a feminine dress with a masculine blazer. Sheer fabrics like lace panels and feminine frills are a wearable nod to the trend – and they’re something the high street is doing so well right now.
