Pleated denim is having a real moment this season, and this darker wash from Citizens feels elevated for everyday. I have a weakness for navy knits – &Daughters' classic styles will be a year-round staple in my wardrobe. I'm really favouring suede bags at the moment and love this micro shape from Savette in a lighter tone. It would be really useful come spring and compliments these tortoiseshell Khaite sunnies perfectly.

I'm looking for hard-working investment staples that I can wear every day and these are the brands that nail this year-round. Loulou Studio is always a big player in my wardrobe – I love the easy silhouettes and effortless designs and this season its tailoring is particularly good. Toteme's accessories are an investment I never regret and the cost-per-wear is always in my favour. Finally, I'm really into croc-effect leather at the moment and these trousers from The Frankie Shop will update all my simple leather looks.

I’ve a few key pieces on my wishlist that my wardrobe is missing. Firstly, I love this Déhanche belt – it’s such a versatile piece and is something I would wear every day. Right now I am loving burgundy, so naturally this cashmere jumper would be a key purchase. This is a good time of year to buy a new pair of trainers, as they effortlessly freshen up winter looks. This Nike pair caught my eye. I’m also looking ahead to storing away my winter coats – I think this Isabel Marant jacket would be perfect for the transitional time of year.

I'm always on the lookout for key pieces that will work with items I already have in my wardrobe. I've been searching for the perfect pair of snakeskin boots for an eternity and this Attico pair unquestionably fit the bill. I would team them with this showstopper STAUD dress, which will give my January mood a much-needed boost. In summer, the dress will come into its own – I can wait to wear it with a great pair of mules or sandals. I can think of at least five different ways to style it. Denim never goes out of fashion, which is why I've picked the Magda Butrym midi skirt and bustier. The cut will be super flattering for my figure. Finally, the YSL bag and jewellery are forever items.

I’m already looking forward to transitioning my wardrobe and know a few strategic buys will go a long way. A burgundy blazer works for now with rollnecks and knits, but will carry me through to spring too. I’ll be opting for wider, barrel-shaped denim to add a more modern touch to off-duty dressing and Ive added some vintage-style gold earrings to elevate everything.
