Dear Readers,

We’ve been quietly squirrelling away at a new project which I’m thrilled to see come to life in May. The SheerLuxe and LuxeGen Manchester takeover is officially here, involving dinners, podcast recordings, BTS filming and general SL fun in the city – it feels long overdue for us to spend a bit of time with talent and our readers outside of London and we’re excited to explore a little later in the month.

On the home front, I was wowed by the product selection in this week’s Live Shopping with Nana and Polly – resin clutches from LK Bennett and River Island were particular highlights, but from flowing Mango maxi dresses to textured suits, it’s the ultimate high street edit if you’re shopping for occasionwear right now. You can still watch the full episode, along with all previous Live Shopping events, on site. And, from affordable style to the biggest date in the fashion calendar, we are of course going to be hitting your screens first thing next Tuesday morning with the lowdown from Monday’s Met Gala. If she wasn’t already, Zendaya is now officially my girl crush after watching her in Challengers this weekend (for in-depth analysis, listen to this week’s SL team podcast), so I’m excited to see what Law Roach has in mind for her for the first Monday in May.

Next week isn’t our only SheerLuxe Show special this month – Jo Good is back with possibly our best Gold roster to date, with a panel of three absolute legends from the worlds of fashion, interiors and publishing. And, speaking of panels, if you’re a business owner who could do with some advice or guidance from those who’ve trodden that path, it’s well worth signing up to our Entrepreneurs Open Forum on the 8th May, a digital event hosted by Georgie where she’ll put your burning questions to three founders we really admire.

As ever, I’m envying the LGs this month – from hosting a dinner with some of social media’s coolest names in partnership with ASOS tonight to jetting to Paris to live their best Swiftie lives with Instagram next week, they’re killing it. Plus, Amber’s next episode of Challenges is coming in May – she’s joined by a TV star who has battled with limb difference and a stoma bag, and is here to share her story.

I have swimwear on the brain right now and I’m thinking brown might be my holiday look of choice. I just purchased this fun one-shoulder option from Maygel Coronel, and am eagerly waiting for this Zara number to come back into stock. J Crew and Reformation are also doing swimwear so well at the moment. I’m off to LA next week so I’m trying to get my outfits in order – I’m thinking my giant Raey suited trousers (which I must buy more of before they’re gone for good) with Topshop’s perfect camis and fisherman sandals will be my uniform. Any fresh La La Land recommendations, let me know…

Have a great month,
