Fireworks Spectacular At Ascot Racecourse

This autumn, Ascot will host its annual Fireworks Spectacular Family Race Day. Guests will be able to enjoy a pyro-musical show featuring over 20,000 fireworks launched from the centre of the famous racetrack. This year’s race day falls just before Halloween and will be a night filled with fun suitable for all ages, such as fairground rides, a spooky slime workshop, an interactive creepy crawly experience, pumpkin carving, roaming entertainers, and a pop-up cinema showing Halloween-themed cartoons. All fairground rides are free during racing, then from 4pm they are charged at £1 per ride with all proceeds donated to local charities. The day is built around an exciting racing card as the jumps season returns.

Oscar winner Robert Zemeckis directs this live action and CGI retelling of the tale of the beloved wooden puppet who embarks on a thrilling adventure to become a real boy. Halloween at Legoland

The Legoland Windsor Resort has announced its family Halloween monster party, Brick-or-Treat, will return this October. For the first time, the event will take place for the full month of October. Among the activities, there’s a new 4D movie The Great Monster Chase! to watch, featuring the popular cast of Lego Monsters. Knights Kingdom will be transformed into the Creepy Cobweb Castle with supersize, joke-telling Lego pumpkins, Lego-inspired bats and spiders decorating the theme park. Five new characters including Monster Rocker, Wolf Guy and Square Foot will be on hand to meet guests and pose for spooky selfies and all the rides will be open, including The Haunted House Monster Party.

Nordic Fit Mama

Nordic Fit Mama – set up by one of Finland’s top personal trainers – is launching its Post-Natal Programme in the UK this month, offering mums a six-week online fitness programme focused on holistic wellbeing to help mums get back to exercise safely. The programme was created by Riina Laaksonen. A mother of three boys, Riina is a personal trainer and it was her own experiences of post-natal recovery that inspired her to start Nordic Fit Mama in 2017.
