The Look: "Jeana wanted to be a modern yet timeless bride. She wanted to see her skin through the make-up and feel comfortable all day and have a look that complemented the deep red of her sari."
The Method: "Lots of skin prep was key for a flawless, glowing base. I swear by Charlotte Tilbury's Undereye Hydrating Pads – they're amazing for brides who haven’t had much sleep. I love liquid blush and contour because they blend seamlessly, and I lightly set everything with Charlotte Tilbury’s pressed powder for a natural feel. Thin, buildable layers create the most flawless, photo-ready finish. To complete the look, we chose a Cassie half lash for subtle lift and a Benefit Lip Tint for a sheer flush of colour."
The Tips: "Hydration is essential. Make-up sits better on well-hydrated skin, so drink plenty of water leading up to your wedding day."
The Look: "Meg was based in NYC, so we had our consultation over Zoom with her wedding planner, Karishma Manwani Events. She wanted to look and feel like the best version of herself, which is always my mantra. I believe in enhancing natural beauty rather than masking it – this approach allows my brides to shine both in person and on camera. We also kept her wedding outfit in mind to ensure the makeup complemented the overall aesthetic."
The Method: "I always begin with skin prep to ensure the make-up lasts. My key to a flawless finish is layering lightly and blending thoroughly. For Meg, we used lighter shades to enhance her eyes, skipping darker tones and heavy contouring for a soft, timeless effect. A natural, glowing complexion was the focus, and we finished with a lip shade that enhanced her own lip colour."
The Tips: "Skincare is everything. Hydration, a good diet and cutting down on processed foods will do wonders for your skin. Also, when choosing an artist for your wedding, look for natural-light photos and videos to avoid being misled by overly edited images. Experience with destination weddings is a plus if you're getting married abroad."
The Look: Khadija wanted to look like the best version of herself. We went with a shimmery eye for that classic Indian bridal touch, paired with a nude lip and soft glam skin.
The Method: I started with the brows, using Got2B Brow Gel and a Benefit pencil. While working on the eyes, I applied under-eye patches to hydrate the area. Neutral brown shadows created a soft crease, followed by e.l.f's liquid shimmer shadow. I then added a sharp wing using the KVD Tattoo Eyeliner, waterproof mascara and Cassie Lashes in 'Wedding Day' to complete the look.
I prepped the skin with the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Trio and colour corrected with Huda Beauty's peach corrector. I then applied NARS Radiant Longwear Foundation (in 'Punjab' and 'Barcelona') and HNB Concealer in SF2.5W. Bronzing was done with Makeup By Mario's Skin Enhancer in 'Medium', while the blush was a mix of 'Sweet Cheeks' from MadeByMitchell and 'Rosie' from BPerfect. I set everything with the Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder in shade 2 and Huda Beauty's Easy Bake Powder in 'Pound Cake'. A pop of Anastasia Beverly Hills Highlighter added glow to the cheekbones and inner corners and for lips, I used the Kiko 34 Lip Liner, M·A·C's 'Hug Me' lipstick with the Max Factor 'Guava Flair' gloss over the top.
The Tips: Blend everything as seamlessly as you can – blush, highlight, and bronzer should all melt together. Always check your work and invest in good brushes – I love Zoeva. I also think setting the make-up is really important. I locked everything in with One Size Beauty On 'Til Dawn Spray. As bridal make-up needs to last, I always leave my brides with a Retouch Beauty Top-Up Kit too.
The Look: "The bride asked for something that worked with her outfit – which was a two-piece champagne gold shade. She trusted me to do my thing with her stunning features, and while there was no inspo or references from her, I knew instantly what I wanted to create for this look. I decided on a neutral brown eye with a winged liner that gave her a subtle smoke without overpowering her green eyes or the shade of the outfit."
The Method: "For the skin, I prepped with the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Setting Spray, which gives a great, light grip for face products to adhere to. For colour correction, I used Huda Beauty’s Faux Filter Corrector in ‘Mango’. I then bronzed the skin and set it with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. For the eyes, I used Natasha Denona’s Gold Eyeshadow Palette and lips were finished with a mix of two to three neutral brown shades from Sephora."
The Tips: "Start with light browns on the eyes and build up gradually before using deeper shades. This ensures an even blend – I always say to follow the light-to-dark effect like a sunset. To keep skin looking fresh yet flawless, applying spray setting spray between steps will maintain a healthy glow."
