FOR BEAUTIFUL DRESSES: Halfpenny London

Kate Halfpenny’s new bridal collection is designed to act as a bridge between the past and future, the old and the new. Focusing on a small number of pieces, the team has created a selection of simple pieces for brides to style as they wish. Stand out garments include the Orchid Skirt – over 10m of Italian silk organza hand gathered into a voluminous frill; the Cheryl split dress – an update on a Halfpenny London favourite with a backless halter top and split; and the Dahlia dress with a scoop neckline, square back and hidden pockets.

FOR A ROMANTIC MINIMOON: The Fish Hotel Hideaway Huts

Boutique hotel, The Fish, – which is set on the 400-acre Farncombe Estate in the Cotswolds – has added a further five new Hideaway Huts to its estate. Titania, Cobweb, Puck, Lysander and Quince, named after their magical, Shakespearean woodland setting, are scattered in the grounds of the hotel, all in romantic, secluded locations. Each of the Scandi-style huts sleeps two adults with sumptuous double beds and roll top baths, as well as a separate en-suite bathroom with a shower. The cosy lounge area also comes complete with log burner while the outside deck has a hot tub.
