THE BASES
I've been using the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation for the past year and it truly lives up to its name. I'm not a fan of heavy foundations and this one feels incredibly lightweight during the day – but it’s also easily buildable at night. I apply it with the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Brush which gives your skin a soft, radiant finish. I can't imagine starting my beauty routine without these two products.
THE CONCEALER
The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer has been a ride or die for the past seven or eight years – I've never strayed. It blends seamlessly and provides such great coverage. It’s also infused with coconut water for extra hydration and a gorgeous dewy finish. It’s so hydrating under the eyes and never looks cakey. Plus, it’s affordable. I’m a brush girl, so I use the Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Concealer Brush to apply it and blend it out.
THE BRONZER
I use the Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand with the Patrick Ta Contour Brush for killer cheekbones. I’m proud to say I discovered this long before it went viral on TikTok – and it’s perfect. It gives me a natural, buildable contour with such a flawless finish. Plus, it’s easy to blend. I tend to apply my contour in the hollows of my cheeks to define my face, along the jawline to add dimension, and lightly along the sides of my nose for a slimmer appearance. The Patrick Ta Contour Brush is my favourite for blending. The bristles are so soft and the shape of it really works the product into the contours of my cheeks.
THE BLUSHERS
I’m a blush fanatic so I have a lot of favourites. My top pick has to be the Patrick Ta Powder Blush Duo in the shade ‘She’s That Girl’. The pigmentation is incredible. You need only the smallest amount, but the cream feels lightweight, giving you a flushed rosy glow. I like that it also comes with a powder that complements the cream shade as well. The Pixi On-The-Glow Blush offers long-lasting wear and is enriched with aloe vera to be soothing on the skin.
THE HIGHLIGHTING HEROES
I don’t typically use highlighter, but I like to wear the Elf Glow Liquid Filter under my foundation. My make-up doesn’t look right without it. It makes your skin look hydrated – like you’re glowing from within. Sometimes I use this on its own for more of a natural look. It lives up to the hype. I occasionally use the Saie Beauty Glowy Super Gel too if I want more of a luminous glow. It’s a champagne colour so it looks beautiful on my skin tone without looking too glittery.
THE POWDERS
My preferred setting spray has to be the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray. I've gone through nearly five bottles of this, and there's no turning back. It's the only product that locks my make-up in place to help it last for up to 16 hours.
THE EYESHADOW
The NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette in ‘Warm Neutrals’ combines creamy mattes and shimmers to help you create a sultry eye look. It’s flattering on any skin tone and eye colour. I love how compact it is, so it’s really easy to travel with.
THE MASCARA
The Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara has been in my make-up bag for years – I must’ve gone through about 50 bottles of it. I’m very particular about mascara and lean more towards a natural-looking lash, so I love how this doesn’t clump when it’s applied. The wand is slightly curved, so it does a fantastic job of separating my lashes and giving them a beautiful, feathered look. This also doesn’t smudge.
THE BROW GO-TO
I’ve liked the look of fluffy, laminated brows for a few years now but haven’t taken the plunge to get them professionally done. Instead, I recently invested in a few Refy brow products, and I’m obsessed. The combination of the Brow Sculpt and Brow Pencil works so well to achieve those feathery, laminated-style brows I've been wanting. The Brow Sculpt keeps my hairs in place all day with zero flakiness or white residue left behind. Seeing as my brows are naturally full, I don't need to fill them in that much, but I use the pencil to delicately define them.
THE LIP PRODUCTS
It’s taken me a few years to nail my lip combo, but I have finally mastered it. I use a trio of products from Charlotte Tilbury starting with the famous Lip Cheat Liner in the shade Iconic Nude, then layering on the Muted Nude Lipstick in ‘Super Cindy’, and finishing off with the Collagen Lip Bath High Shine Gloss in ‘Refresh Rose’. This combination creates a flawless rosy-pink lip look that complements any skin tone.
THE NEW NAMES
Recently, I’ve been enjoying the Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint. I like how it’s so lightweight and breathable compared to foundations which can feel heavy at times, especially during a long workday. If you’re after a dewier look, this is so gorgeous and sheer – it just looks like my skin but better. I received so many compliments the first time I wore it .
THE UNDER-THE-RADAR FAVOURITE
I recently tried Espressoh's Glassy Blush, and it's incredible. It’s a clear formula that adjusts to your skin's pH, transforming into a gorgeous blush tint that's unique to everyone but appears flawless on your skin tone. It’s so hydrating as well – ideal for a more natural look.
THE TOOLS
I’m very particular about my lashes and I've just discovered the wonders an eyelash separator. It's essentially a miniature comb that does a fantastic job of separating your lashes and getting rid of any clumps after applying your mascara. You can get one on Amazon.
THE MAKE-UP BAG
I've used the same make-up bag for years – it's just a basic black one I got from Amazon. Sometimes, simplicity is key.
