There’s no better time for a make-up refresh than the start of a new season. This autumn, the LGs are leaning into deeper colours and higher coverage – though there are a few your-round staples they always have on hand too..

Angelina

At this time of year, I start leaning into more toasted shades like reds, deep browns and plums. The muted anti-blush trend is everywhere and Glossier’s Cloud Paint Plush Blush in ‘Storm’ layered with the Kosas Impressionist Multistick in ‘Surreal’ is a combo that’s perfect for my skintone. I wear winged liner daily and the  Half Magic Flik Liner is one of the best I’ve tried – the flat tip makes application effortless and it doesn’t budge. For fresh-looking skin, I use the Saie Glowy Super Gel and the Makeup By Mario Concealer for its buildable coverage and blurring effect. REFY’s Blur Liner in ‘Teak’ adds the perfect soft sculpt to my natural lip shade and I’ve been meaning to try the new Danessa Myricks plumping lip glosses, especially this neutral pink for a ‘your lips but better’ lip combo.

India

I'm pretty loyal to my favourites – like my Danessa Myricks blurring balm, which isn't going anywhere. I'm big on skincare-infused make-up too, hence my love for the Ilia serum concealer – the consistency is great and I found my perfect shade match. For lips, it has to be the Wonderskin lip tint in ‘Demure’, layered with the Morphe lip liner in ‘Date Night’. Purple blush is becoming a staple in my routine and the Violette Plume Blush has a gorgeous finish. Finally, my look isn't complete without gel liner and the Victoria Beckham one is the best.

Poppy

Right now, I’m swapping lighter summer make-up for more coverage, deeper tones and plenty of glow. The Kosas Revealer Concealer adds coverage without feeling heavy, while REFY’s Glow & Sculpt Primer brings back the hydration that colder weather can strip away. I also like layering the Rhode Pocket Bronzer in ‘Sunbed’ with the Jordana Ticia Bronzer Duo in ‘Golden Hour’ – the combination of cream and powder creates a naturally sculpted, sun-kissed warmth. On the cheeks, MERIT’s Flush Balm in ‘Persimmon’ adds the perfect reddy-brick touch. I then go in with the Summer Fridays Lip Liner in ‘Cinnamon’, layered with Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Lip Oil in ‘Muse’  to complement the warm, reddy shades while keeping my lips hydrated.
