THE FOODIE SPOT:
Two Roosters
One of London’s most exciting casual food openings has landed at Old Spitalfields Market. Two Roosters started life as a market stall in 2024, founded by friends Terence and Julien to celebrate their Malaysian and Singaporean heritage. Now in a permanent home, the menu centres on Hainanese chicken rice: fragrant rice served with poached or roasted chicken, a punchy chilli-lime sauce and a ginger-scallion dressing. Add sides of beansprout salad, golden eggs and crisp lettuce, and you have a great lunch pit-stop.

THE FASHION DROP:
Susamusa
If your Instagram feed has been filled with slinky dresses, sheer layers and perfectly draped separates, there’s a good chance Susamusa is behind them. Founded by London-based designer Asal Tehrani, the label has built a devoted following with its feminine silhouettes, deadstock fabrics and vintage-inspired aesthetic. What started as a university-bedroom Depop venture has quickly evolved into one of fashion’s coolest under-the-radar names – helped in part by an early endorsement from Bella Hadid. The latest summer drop delivers exactly what fans love about the brand: polka-dot dresses, buttery fabrics and easy throw-on pieces that embody that cool-girl vibe.

THE JEWELLERY COLLECTION:
Tyger By The Tail
For jewellery fans who subscribe to the ‘more is more’ school of accessorising, Tyger by the Tail remains one of London's best-kept secrets. Founded in 2021 by Amelia and now run alongside business partner Celia, the female-led brand is loved for its sculptural, stackable designs, all of which are handcrafted to order. Its latest collection, Forme, focuses on clean lines and subtle white topaz details, making it ideal for everyday layering. Looking for something bolder? A colourful new drop is arriving this month, featuring oversized gemstone-inspired pieces.

THE TV RETURN:
The Bear
Yes, chef. The Bear returns on 25th June with its fifth season – and if rumours are to be believed, its last. Picking up after Carmy’s dramatic exit from the restaurant in the season four finale, the next chapter promises more kitchen chaos, emotional fallout and unanswered questions. Fans were recently thrown a curveball with the surprise episode ‘Gary’, which revisited key moments from the past before ending on a major cliffhanger. With Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach returning, this will be a fond farewell.

THE TASTE TEST:
The Ice Cream Project
Every summer, Anya Hindmarch delivers one of London’s most delightfully bizarre foodie experiences – and 2026’s edition might be the strangest yet. Returning to Belgravia until mid-August, The Ice Cream Project transforms household cupboard staples into frozen treats, with flavours ranging from Euthymol toothpaste and OXO stock cubes to Paxo stuffing and Aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire puddings. Not feeling quite that adventurous? There are more crowd-pleasing options inspired by Capri-Sun, Tunnock’s Caramel Wafers and Lurpak on offer.
