THE SKINCARE UPDATE:

Herbar’s The Barrier Cream

Herbar has updated the packaging for its Barrier Cream, swapping its original aluminium tube for a tube made from sugarcane-based bioplastic. The good news? The formula hasn't changed, so you can still count on the same blend of five ceramides and adaptogenic mushrooms. The brand has also reduced the retail price following improvements to its manufacturing process. A more considered package and a lower price? We'll take it.

Fontaines D.C. ‘Dopamine Chamber’

Fontaines D.C. are back with a new album and this time they're taking things in a different direction. Dopamine Chamber, released on 16th October, marks the band's fifth studio album, shifting away from their earlier guitar-driven sound towards colder synths, electronic textures and marching drums, with nods to 1960s Italian pop. Produced by James Ford, the 11-track record includes the singles ‘Marianne’ and ‘Tongue’, alongside ‘Where Is Gone?’, featuring Rosalía. Frontman Grian Chatten has described the record as an exploration of pleasure in a world shaped by AI, climate anxiety and endless scrolling.
